Amazon Customer: I was a little hesitant considering how inexpensive it was compared to a lot of other similar electric lawnmowers. This one is pretty much exactly as billed. If you let your grass grow to half a foot, this mower will have issues getting through it. However, if you are doing a once a week / every other week trim, this is great. Very light weight - most people will be able to pick it up with one hand. The biggest draw back is the battery. Not that it doesn't last as long as stated, but the battery will be quite warm if you use it for the full 30 minutes which will not allow you to recharge it right away. The safety mechanism in the charger can sense when the battery is to warm to charge. Very important in preventing fires, but annoying if you just need another 5 minutes. Highly recommend it for small jobs, but also consider getting a second battery.

Kiki: Does what it's supposed to do. If you have a normal sized yard, get a bigger mower! This one is small, so it takes me a while to mow. Also the battery only lasts for me to do the front or the back, not both.

El compras: Tengo un patio de 600 m2 y la bateria dura justo para eso, tienes que ser rapido, pero aun asi es una muy buena podadora, otra cosa que me gusto es que muele demasiado bien el pasto, tanto que de los 600 m2 apenas y saco una bolsita de todo el pasto que recolecto, la podadora esta hecha de plastico muy delgado pero resistente, y en general funciona bien si solo se usa ocasionalmente, lo bueno es que si mantienes tu cesped a raya con la bateria sera suficiente, si no recomiendo comprar otra para tener mas duracion

Amazon Customer: J’ai acheté le modèle de 14’’ et je suis surpris du rendement de cette tondeuse que j’ai baptisé « Mini Green Machine »
Mon gazon était très long la première fois que je l’ai utilisé et aucun problème d’efficacité sauf sur une partie de mon terrain qui était à l’ombre donc le gazon était mouillé, résultat, le gazon restait collé à l’intérieur juste au dessus de la lame et ce même si j’utilisais le sac récupérateur.
En passant le sac est très petit mais bon, ça vient avec la grosseur de la tondeuse.
Côté batterie, j’ai eu de la difficulté à terminer le gazon avec la première charge (terrain de 5000 pieds carrés) mais là deuxièmement fois avec du gazon sèche et moins long les batteries ont tenus le coup.

Pour une petit terrain comme le mien je la recommande.

toast porter: important parts are made of platic that could break down faster than expected. i can no longer use my mower in any position other than putting green low due to a defect of the arm that controlls cutting height. i only got two uses in this summer before it broke. the upside is the customer support team from greenworks is fantastic. warranty took care of everything and another unit is already on its way. i think i might have just been unlucky with my lever arm, im sure the factory direct replacement will be fine.

Dillon & BethanyDillon & Bethany: (9/17/23 Below is my original review, but here’s an update)…after a few months of owning this mower, we’re now having an issue with it staying on. We’ll start it up and it’ll stay on for a few seconds and then shut off. Battery fully charged. We store it indoors, so we’re not sure what it is. I’ll update again if we can figure out what’s going on.

My husband and I have a small yard and one full charge on the battery is JUST enough to do the whole thing lol (about 30 minutes). However, if we’ve let the grass get overgrown and it’s taller/thicker than normal, one charge might run out before it’s completely done. Also, the mower seems to struggle slightly going over very thick, tall grass, which is probably to be expected. So we like to stay on top of ours and mow once a week or once every two weeks, so it’s easier. Only issue we really have with it is that sometimes the grass gets a bit clogged inside the mower, and you have to lift the little flap in the back where it’s supposed to come out. Then grass shoots out of it and it’s good to go again lol. But this usually only happens when we’ve let our lawn get too long. We really do love this little...

I was looking for a battery powered option but the price difference was a lot between corded and cordless and batteries tend to malfunction after a few years so I thought this would be the best option for not going with gas.

It's light. Much lighter than an empty gas mower. Easy to push around. You can fold the handle up and hang it on the wall of your shed with appropriate hooks or stick it in the front closet for someone who doesn't have a shed, you don't have to worry about storing a machine filled with oil and gas.

The main issue with this compared to a gas mower is dealing with the cord. Don't run it over. Pro tip: use the 'daisy chain' or 'figure 8' methods to lay out your cord and you'll be able dispense it tanglefree without a reel.

Second issue is the width. 14" is less than most gas mowers, so you'll be going for more laps but that's why it's best for smaller lawns.

Third issue is just for tall people, 6' or taller maybe the handle is short but it's easy to make friendlier for tall people just by removing the 2 hand bolts halfway up the handle assembly and reversing the handle so the controls face up instead of down,...
