Bassmatt68: This was the best economy priced shower head and wand combo that I have found on Amazon.

It was simple to assemble and easy to install.
Better yet, the adjustable streams reach to the back of the shower. No more standing under a whimpy shower head for me!
(I removed the small plastic water filter insert for increased water pressure. We have well water and minimal water pressure.)

Another reason I chose this product was that the handle of the wand attaches to the top of the unit. Others products had adhesive tape that reviewers said did not hold well.

While this isn't Moen or Delta quality, it isn't $$$ either. The handle spun a little when I attached the hose to it. It's plastic, but effective.

Overall I am very pleased with this. I would recommend and buy it again. Economical and effective. Win, win!

Snail: I was looking for a relatively cheap combo shower head to replace the one that broke in the house we're renting. I got this one since it seemed comparable and I didn't want it to be too expensive since I intend to just leave it behind. It arrived fine with all of the components wrapped in a plain box. The instructions were very clear and I had no real trouble installing it. The only problem was just getting my old showerhead off since the main nut was super tight and there was all this old plumber's tape to remove (this one comes with a roll of new tape, too). Because of that, it took me maybe an hour even though it really should only take like 10 minutes. It is just cheap plastic (the hose for the hand held is metal, though), but the shower head works well and it's nice to have the dual option of which shower head (and what kind of spray) to use especially if you bathe with anyone else. As others have said, the adjustment for the spray is a little tight and awkward but not really a problem once you understand how it works. You just might want to make any adjustments ahead of time before you get your hands too wet. If you like to adjust the spray style frequently, then this might...

DrMelody: Well, as many previous reviewers have said, you get what you pay for. This is a nice looking shower head that works great in the lower (stationary) showerhead only position--but when you switch the dial to engage the handheld part, the warm water causes it to loosen and, often, fall out of the bracket (and onto my head more than once!). The catch on the bracket seems too loose, too wide perhaps, and does not hold very well. Both shower heads move around way too much and are very hard to keep in any position.
And then there's the dial to adjust the water flow. This is probably the hardest mechanism I've ever tried to use. You cannot grip it if your hands are wet or soapy at all.
So overall, not a bad shower head for the cost, but not something I would buy again. I'm sort of waiting for the arm to explode like other reviewers have mentioned, so that I can justify buying a better one.

Ben: Wow! I just took my first shower with this showerhead and I am very pleased. I searched many of the higher priced name brands and found that all of them, and I do mean ALL, were also made of plastic. I could not find any that were made of metal even at the $100 range. So, after reading the reviews here, I decided to give Hydroluxe a try. I'm glad I did. It works great. No leaks. Strong steady spray. And, plenty of pressure.

The construction is plastic, and the wand may break if dropped or banged against the wall or tub. Time will tell. However, it works great. And, for less than $17, I'll never buy another more expensive brand. The instructions were precise and I had it assembled in ten minutes. The settings are fine, but like others, I don't understand how they get "24-settings" or where the "3-way" comes in. Still, I give it five stars and I would recommend it to anyone no matter how much you have to spend.

Christina: I've only had this shower head for a couple of days, but so far I think it was a steal for this price! The installation was a little tricky mostly because my shower is really old and there was a little rust on the shower neck, but after a little fuss it is on and working great! It took a couple of tries to get it to stop leaking because I couldn't get the washers to sit just right when screwing the pieces together, but I accomplished it after a few extra minutes. At first I took the water pressure regulators out because I was worried there wouldn't be enough water pressure, but it turns out we have great water pressure, so I put them back in and it's just right! The dial to change which shower head is pushing out water turns easily, but the one to change the dial setting was really hard to turn the first time, also I kept turning it to the right, but I needed to turn it left. But I thought that I had gotten a defective one at first, and I gave up and then went back a little later to try again and it turned a little easier.
