I had no idea what to do in an emergency, but now I do after reading this book! I feel more confident now in case an emergency arises. Previously, I really didn't know what to do besides call 911, which isn't always necessary.

This was a fascinating read for me coming from a novices perspective. I've definitely heard this information before from school and the hospital, and what not about what to do in emergency situations. But it's nice having it laid out like this...

More of a primer than a stand alone volume, but still useful, though it is in places a little basic. Pair with books on barefoot doctoring and it is a worthwhile addition to any emergency preparedness medical library.
