Veronica Gomez: So the reason I got them is because my son doesn’t like the feeling of sand… but he is 7y/o and all the kids size socks are ankle high and I need some that are higher, so this is the next best they fit big but I think they will do. I’ll come back next week and let you know how they perform at the beach.

MommaMacof2: Overall these are good, not great but they do the job and since you get two pairs it's hard to beat the price.

I had to order as second pair as I ordered a large the first time around. Based on the size chart and what my foot measured at, I thought large would be the best, but they were HUGE on me. I wear a women's size 11 shoe, I gave the large pairs to my brother-in-law who wears a men's size 15 shoe...they fit him just fine.

The medium fit me better length wise, though I still wish they were tighter, more like an actual sock but these are fairly loose. I worried that when I was playing volleyball they would slip around but much to my surprise, they really didn't and felt pretty good on. I am typically only going to wear them in the early spring and late fall games where the sand is freezing. If they fit my foot tighter I would give them 5 stars but again, I'm happy with them and for what I need them for they will work just fine.

K A Baker: So I have never used anything like these, but I am pretty sure these are going to be great! I bought these to wear under a pair of water sandals that i have used for years. I always went barefoot with the water sandals and I always got blisters once the sandals got wet inside. Additionally, if I ever went into the sand or anywhere there were small rocks grains, they would always lodge underneath my foot and hurt a bunch after walking on them.

So the beach socks, first off, are thin enough on the top that they fit inside the sandals without taking up much room at all. In other words, the sandals are still the right size after wearing these socks. Second, the bottom of the socks are cushy enough that I don't think any small sand or rock grains will be felt on the bottom of my feet.

The quality seems top notch and the seller (Nordic Essentials) has made numerous efforts to let you know that if you do have any issues or questions - they are there to make it right for you.

I am really happy with these and think you will be too. i wear a size 11 1/2 men's shoe and have a pretty wide foot. The size LARGE seems to be just about right on my foot -- the sizing...

Peter and Sheri: I really like the price of these socks and over all I'm really happy with them. I'm really glad they come with two pairs. I first bought a pair based on the recommended size for my feet but when I got them I felt they were too big. I ended up buying a second pair at a lower size for my wife cause we were going on a trip to Hawaii. I tried hers on and because of they are so stretchy, they fit me really well. I highly recommend going one size down. The socks are great for walking around when you plan to get wet but don't want to keep putting on shoes. They feel great. They also work pretty well for inside flippers. The thick seams can cause discomfort though. These socks don't work well if you plan on heavy swimming. Because they are so stretchy, they start to fall off when kicking your feet hard in the water. We really wish we had them when at a water park. Could have saved our feet from the hot cement.
