andy: This looks great and is easy to install. Get extra washers for sure if you want it to fit snug on a tow hook. Otherwise it will just dangle. My tow hooks came in well packed. The orange paint didn't full cover the entire hook (small part near the threads). It's not visible and hopefully it won't cause there to be corrosion problems later - so I'll keep an eye on that.

Bill Ward: The product itself seems to be fine. The problem is trying to find a way to connect my travel trailer safety chains to an F-250 Super Duty hitch. Ford does not make it easy. Anyway, this shackle is strong enough and fits through the hitch "holes" but now the clevis safety chain hook won't hook around the shackle.

Jeeper: They seem to be sturdy enough but I’ll probably spray paint them red because they look pink. I’m definitely not satisfied with the color. I expected the color to look like the picture and it does not.

jenna compton padua: Like many others on here I took a chance on a small company I had never heard of. I was expecting good quality but was actually amazed at the fit and finish on these shackles. I don’t need a set of shackles that can support the weight of a fully loaded semi, but I have them. I purchased these to attach their 20’ and 30’ straps together if I ever needed to.
