FredFred: I like the ease of tightening the shackle pin and the retaining pin is a great add on. This provides the peace on mind that you will not loose your shackle on a rough trail. The icing on the cake is the plastic/stiff rubber inner liner on the shackle, it keeps them from rattling and is good for a soft shackle to keep from abraiding it on the hard shackle. I will definitely recommend these to anyone who comments on them.
