Hey the original ones wore out - eventually refusing to take a charge. Opening the case ,which is ill advised, showed the batteries had finally given up by leaking. These new ones are great. I think I'll keep them on the slower charger however.

So far this pair of batteries has exceeded my expectations. The slide of the battery isn't as smooth as the original battery but it's well made up for by the fact that they work like a charm. The battery charges with the original charger also I ordered a 2.5amp to replace my 1.5amp and there is a noticeable improvement in my electric blower. Overall I would definitely buy another set if I had more B&D tools

I am really impressed so far. I have a few B&D tools that use this battery. The old batteries work but the leaf blower really drains the batteries. I tried the new batteries in the blower today and it went 10 mins solid before I turned the blower off. Usually I am good to get 3 mins of use from the blower. Longevity is not yet determined but so far I am happy.
At the price I paid I should buy two more. I am sure I can do twice as many shrubs as well. Good quality. Batteries are well constructed and look great as well.

I bought Black and Decker equipment that run on 20 V lithium batteries. My batteries were worn out. Original replacements were a rip off. So I went with these batteries.
Let me tell you, they are an excellent value and they are way better than the original. They last much much longer than the B&D batteries sold in stores. Very pleased with this purchase. B&D chargers work perfectly with these batteries.
Highly recommended.
