JTSF: I have been using this product for almost ten years. Normally I would give a 5 star rating. Lately I found that the black is very liquid and the clumps which are not properly diluted into the dye creates a very messy business. Even trying to hand dilute the dye does not work. Having looked carefully at the bottles I see that the ones ordered from Amazon have this problem and they are close to expiry. I have just ordered 3 more, will report further on results of this. I am truly sorry because I have recommended this product to many people and very disappointed that the quality control and consistency has declined so much.
The liquidity causes the dye to flow during the wait for it to absorb. Everything becomes a mess. Really, Surya, if this doesn't improve I will have to change brands.
So far I have not found this to happen in the brown dye. I mix the brown with the black to get a more natural tint.

I have discovered that when I leave the henna on overnight before I rinse it out, the black looks blacker and last longer!

zero347: First of all, this product is not really henna. It's a semi-permanent cream liquid (i.e. Arctic Fox) but it's formulated with henna extract and less harmful ingredients. (The company does make actual henna hair color powders also though.) It didn't cover my greys completely, more like blended them in and gave them a better tint. It's super easy to use and makes your hair feel healthier. It also doesn't leave behind the wierd after-fade colors (think green hair) that some of the other semi-perms do. My main issue with it is that it's expensive for what you get. The bottles are embarrassingly tiny. Anyone who has longer than jaw length hair will probably need two boxes for proper saturation. I would definitely buy it again though as it's a good product.

Arvinder Singh Slach: I have been using this product since last five to six years. before this product I had been using Clairiol USA product with similar chemicals viz without Amonia & without Paroxide which had been out in the international market.
Since the time I m using Surya Brazil hair colour product,only one pack has been finded original form of colour packed by supplier Beauty basket & imported by Beverley Hill Sales Pvt.Ltd.Otherwise all colours purchased by me were un-effected and found in the form of black water form not thick paste form
