Terri: This is our 2nd purchase of these and find they are always well packaged, air tight sealed packages, and freshness you can smell. We make lots of homemade breads and pizzas and find this to be the best yeast around. When we open a one pound package we pour it into a large mason jar and store it in the freezer. Always fresh and ready to use. Yes, I will continue to buy this yeast and would recommend to everyone.

Sadly, in my most recent order of 2 lbs. one of the packages had lost the vacuum seal. I placed it in my freezer, and I will use it as soon as I can. Please be more careful about the shipping. I sense that the package will be OK, but I do rely on that vacuum seal.
