Vinny ZappiVinny Zappi: Ok, so my stars are all over the place and that is only because the installation will all depend on how many stars align. Living in Florida forget the home improvement stores, they do not have this type of seal. This is what is considered a "P" channel. I purchased the 16' length that I had to snap together and it was perfect. So let's get to it. I had 2 doors to complete both doors I did without help, the first one was horrible and I belive the reasoning was the limited space I had to work in (Pic. #1) and also I was trying to work with the seal straight out of the package. The second door was so much easier with having space while using a 2x4 to act as person #2. So here is my advice. 1. Be patient! You can pull 6" at a time and still complete the task quickly. 2. Good work space, if not more patience is needed. 3. Lubricate the track. 4. Use a 2x4 or get help, it's so much easier if the seal stays as straight as possible. 5. Snap the seal together and leave it for a day, it will take its own shape.
All in all this product gets 5 stars, the situation of the environment will judge your final review.

Cody Luera: After fighting with different types of garage door seals, I found this "P" bulb style seal. Low and behold, it actually fit my 90's Windsor garage door!

The biggest problem, as others have mentioned, is the seal comes separated. I put some heavy item on it while stretched out to flatten it (for a day or so).

With a lot of pain and with another person (I highly recommend), I was able to get it in. This wasn't due to the seal, but more so the job of sliding in a P bulb seal into a garage door retainer.

Wilkey’s: Doesn’t stay together very well take multiple people to put together.

Karen T.: Tested this to see if it would replace several bottom seals for our complex. It indeed fits the Windsor, four panel garage doors from 25 years ago. The channel that it slides into requires a "P-BULB" shape and not a "T-bulb". I will order for the rest of our units from this company.
PROS:
- Arrived quickly and rolled flat into a shipping box so there were no kinks.
- There was a little extra length past 16 feet, to trim for an exact fit.
- Slid along nicely and didn't bind up in the channel - so the bulb is correct size.
CONS:
- It is only about 20-25% as thick as the one I replaced - minimum quality and planned failure appears to be the norm everywhere now. The only other place I could find this was at North Shore Commercial Door dot com, and it was perhaps just a tad bit thicker at 3/64ths of an inch.
- The convenience of the "flat to ship" method makes for a clumsy insertion experience. However, I only had about 6 inches of space to work in - from the wall to the bottom of the door andI had to fight a bend in the seal to connect the bulb before inserting it into the channel. It would have been easier if: 1-I had a second person to help; 2- had more space...

Boscannon: My old one was dry rotted and I ripped it out. Off to my local hardware store I went to get a replacement. 4 stops later I discovered that no one uses the P-style connection any longer and it was going to require extensive re-tooling of the bottom of the door. Enter Amazon and this product for the win. It takes 2 people- one to keep feeding the gasket into the channel and a second to GENTLY pull the gasket down the length of the door. Took less than 5 minutes to install and problem was resolved. It cost more that the other style of gaskets- but was easier to install and much cheaper than a retool of the door. Great find and buy!
