James davis: Had no issues after 1 yr of use the pump that comes with it works ok. Great to start with. The weight on the water in the pool caused the feet to sink in to the ground. So setting up a pad would be best. This year I'm upgrading to sx3000 sand filer pump with bio balls to cut the maintenance down.

Kari: This has been one of the best investments that we have made for our family. Our kids lived in this pool this summer. The set up was fairly easy once we got the ground level. Maintenance has been simple once we got the hang of it. This has been a ton of great family memories.

Amazon Customer: So this is the first pool we have purchased that lasted the summer without leaking. It was easy to set up, but we did have an issue with the posts sinking into the ground. Nothing to do with the product, just had a lot of rain. We ended up putting bricks underneath the bottom of the posts. The ladder is a little flimsy and the steps are very small, would not work for someone who is elderly or has difficulty with balance or strength.

Lynn FLynn F: We learned a lot putting this together. Firstly, we used dish soap to help put plastic pieces together, especially the ladder. It definitely needs at least 2 people to put it together. We put a tarp and a Gorilla ground sheet under the pool. (It doesn’t come with a ground sheet.) We put a couple inches of water in to smooth the bottom out and check the evenness of the pool. We didn’t know it comes with a shutoff but really should have 2. The hoses and clamps aren’t great. When we close it for the winter we’re going to change the hoses and fittings. We may upgrade the pump and ladder next year.
Oh yes, don’t try to put on the pool cover until the pool is full.
Just a word of caution: there’s lots of other things you need to get to run a pool. For this pool you’ll need a chlorine dispenser. You need a skimmer, pool cleaning equipment, testing strips, chemicals.

argo7t3: I have never had a pool before whether inground or above and so this is the honest review of a newbie. The pool itself arrived timely double boxed and free of issues. This pool was not too overly heavy in the box, but if you have any issues with your back, I highly recommend you anticipate getting help to move it once its delivered to your home. The pool was easy to assemble and defect free. My biggest initial concerns for this pool was for the initial cost to fill and then the monthly cost to operate the filter pump. I live in Mesa AZ, and the cost to fill (additional on my water bill) was around $60. Be mindful that it will take several hous to fill to full and you will have to top off every couple of weeks due to evaporation and active kids splashing the water out. As for the filter pump, I run it during off peak hours for 10-12 hours. So far it seems to cost about $3 per month. The trade off is that this is a very slow pump and likely does not fully cycle all the water (about 4k gallons worth) even in a 12 hour window. I may consider upgrading the pump in the future. S.BennettS.Bennett: We got the 18x48. It will help keep you cooled down on those warm days. The pump; as stated in other reviews is too small for this size. It moves very little water. The design of where the hoses are doesn’t make sense. They need to lower at least one of the water intakes to be closer to the bottom that way it can draw in the water to be filtered better. Having them both positioned at the same height only allows the water above to be filtered. The hoses will just hang as well so you’ll need to add some support of your own that way it isn’t pulling down on the liner (see picture) The ladder it came with is very narrow! So if you’re a wider person you’ll have a hard time getting in and out of the pool. It has a timer on the plug so you can choose how long you want your pump to run for. Assembly was easy. My son and I had it up in about an hour. It took roughly 2 full days to get it filled. The tarp it comes with it very thin and seems like it will rip easily. Overall my kids and their friends are happy with it. They don’t tell you what type of filter to buy so I just use the Intex brand filter size A&C. And it did NOT come with the ground cover to go under the pool...

Nagesh D.: I ordered this for my son's birthday. It was very easy to setup and take apart at the end of the season. Having level ground is very important though.
The delivery date was scheduled after the birthday but I wrote to customer service and I am not sure if they expedited the parcel or not but it came a few days early.
