MCoyle256: I liked these because of their “stand up” feature, because they close securely, and are of a nice weight. I am not storing liquids, so cannot address that feature, but have observed no leakage of odors. Very good buy for the money.

FEEEBZ: Sam’s club has Ziplocs for a decent price but I’ll never go back after trying these ones. Never realized how convenient the bottom being able to flatten out as a stand actually comes in handy. I even made one of those boiled in a Ziploc omelette with these and the seams don’t burst open halfway through like cheap ones.

Trizm: I bought these because Ziploc brand has turned to crap, on the ziplock brand the closure breaks after the first opening, and the bags gallon and quart leak when defrosted, unlike ziplock these amazon brand bags are amazing!! aside from the lower price these are good thick bags that seal very well, imagine that, buying a product that do what there supposed to.
