Doug & Jean: From my experience with this type of battery in a security system fob they'll last about 2 years. In window/door detectors 3-6 months maybe. They are prone to early failure due to the way their made. Inside each one no matter whos name is on it is a stack of 10-1.2 V button batteries. One dies and it eventually drags the rest with it. Sometimes there is a spec of dust or grease between one or two that causes premature failure. I took a stack apart and found 6 still at 1.2V and the other 4 at less than 4V. I've used these all the way from name brand to "never heard of them" and they're all the same. You can't find where they are made in China but I doubt there's more than one plant. Buy the cheapest you can find. This 50 pack is great because the packaging cost is way down. Check the price of a two pack. That non recyclable plastic is expensive!

Don: Out of 50 batteries, less than 10 measure over 12 volts open circuit. Who knows how long they'll last actually doing something in a remote. Does everyone just sell junk nowadays?

RG Amny: Not much more to say, the value is outstanding and the batteries have worked great for everything that I have tried them in. They come bulk packaged in a box of 50. If you need this size battery really can't be beat.

Ty Smith: Will never purchase another GP product.
Clearly no quality control, everything must ship. Bought a 50 pack. Based on actual performance in security system sensors and multimeter voltage measurements.
