Kathy Buncombe: This kettle boils water super fast. I love how it collapses to fit into the semi hard storage case. I bought it to take on vacation where the resort room has a coffee maker but no kettle. I will be packing single serve coffee and tea packets as well. You just never know how clean the coffeemakers are at resort or hotels or what they use to clean them. I will be using this kettle often. Boils enough water to fill two good sized mugs.

Energy: brought it on a 1 month trip to europe, saved us a number of times when we just wanted to save money and eat in, or have coffee in the room when staying in budget places. It was not light, but was the best option. It heated water fast, very fast with 220 in europe even with a 110 converter, and cooled down fast enough to not be a nusiance when checking out same morning. wraps up nicely and the travel case has enough room for the cord without struggling to get it to fit.

Robert So: Item arrived on time. Took instruction and boiled water with lemon to get rid of the plastic smell. Smell gone. But after a few uses, noticed floating white substance (film) appeared on boiled water. It seems like melted silicon. It is NOT safe at all for drinking. This product should never been sold on market. It’s HAZARDOUS to our health. I cannot return it as already passed the return date deadline. Totally waste of money. It was the worse purchase experience from Amazon.

KS: Smaller than expected, which is why it lost 1 star, but overall great product. I never use the coffee makers in hotel rooms because they can be gross. This offers the perfect solution for tea and coffee while traveling. Great to use with french press or pour over. It also doesn't take up much space after collapsing.

aw: I'll start with the caveat that I haven't taken this camping and I've only had it a short time (hours), enough to run some tests and decide that it's worth pursuing further. First I'll answer a few questions and doubts I had about the product before purchase.

I bought the blue one in May 2023 and it did come with the case as shown in the pictures even though the listing states "zipper foldable storage bag".

I saw concerns about removing and reinstalling the lid given the flexible body, these seem unfounded. If I'm not careful, yes, I could smash the body and cause a splash of hot liquid, but I don't think this is a serious concern. It's potentially holding hot liquid, handle it with an appropriate degree of caution. It's not difficult to remove or replace the lid without flexing the body. Also note that the lid leaves an opening for pouring with it on, it's not required to remove the lid to pour the liquid. I don't have concerns regarding the stability of the body attaching to the handle while pouring and I can easily put my thumb on the nub should I have doubts there.

Patricia Ross: Love that this is so light and compact, works well. I haven’t traveled internationally yet, so unsure how it works with different voltage, but love it so far traveling within Canada. I like to bring my own kettle because you never know if the place you stay will provide one or not and hate constantly having to ask and get them to track one down - some don’t. A small thing, but this eliminates some of the stress of travel.

DKM: 2022 UPDATE: Still going strong using this little kettle now that business travel is back up and running post-COVID! I did discover recently though that mine had a slight defect in the base where the handle attaches. I was able to get in touch with the sellers and in no time, the issue was fully resolved. Outstanding customer service!

I travel a lot and can’t believe I didn’t think to find this sooner! Most hotels or rentals have some sort of of tea/coffee setup (questionable quality but generally present); however last year, I found myself in staff housing (similar to an extended stay) for my company overseas in a developing country for 10 days with zero options in my room other than a mini fridge—no microwave, nothing. I was armed with Starbucks VIA and tea and hot cereal packs and other essentials bc I am all about my morning routine to start the day without leaving my room, and nothing to make it with.
