M. RosenM. Rosen: Thanks to another reviewer who pointed out that the direction of flow is embossed. It's almost impossible to see unless you know to look for it. I'm posting a picture to show where it is - look just above the label.
This was really easy to install and seems to have improved the taste for my 5 component tankless RO system.

Debra M.: could not flush cartridge. water would not go through. cannot hang cartridge on wall, Hose from wall to fridge was stainless steel. but there was a hose from the bottom of fridge to the top, with a notation regarding the after market ice maker. Installed cartridge, attached to back of fridge with gorilla tape, zip ties and command performance hooks. We, myself and 2 grandkids, walked away from it with fingers crossed. Tossed the first couple of ice runs until the ice was clear. Ice tastes great!

Rf Foley: Ought to include quick release threaded adapters. My installation is not plastic tubing so I need threaded adapter. Try to find them…..good luck

Tombo: The water taste is fine from these. There was no writing on the label that showed the flow direction, but there is an embossed arrow that is really hard to see. I thought there was no flow direction and by luck installed it in the right direction. I had some small water seepage from the output side, so I removed the water line and snipped off a bit of the end with a PVC pipe cutter and reinstalled and it doesn't leak now. Be sure to push the water lines in hard - it should go in about a 1/2".

Dave s: after flushing with several gallons of water. loose charcoal particles are floating in the water giving it a undesirable grey soup appearance.
