Amazon Customer: This is incredible. My cat hasn't gone after my new couch at all; the plastic deters her. It's nice that it comes with pushpins for security because the adhesive doesn't fully stick towards the sides some, but that may be user error not using enough to wrap around. There are two sizes in the pack, which is nice to have. It's also able to be cut down to custom sizing to fit your needs. I wish I knew about this for my older furniture!

Jennifer: My cats have claws and I just purchased a new couch. I added these to the lower half of the couch all over as the couch is linen material. These work great. My cats haven’t bothered the couch. They are clear so I don’t even notice them and they were easy to apply. I did have to remove one to replace it and they came off with out damaging the material and easily applied back to the couch without an issue. Will be buying again!

Jennifer Silver: Good in theory & does protect the couch. But the little pins that come with it to keep it sticking to the couch do not stay. I’ve walked into them & they cut my legs because they slowly start to come loose/fall out. I have a baby so unfortunately have to take these off because it’s not safe & a choking hazard. Really wanted to love this product :(
*EDIT* customer service is fantastic & they are sending me new ones where I don’t have to use pins. Really appreciate their help & excited to try the new product. Thank you!

Tanya H..: I didn’t want to use the pins that came with this on a $1000 chair. Without the pins, I’m having to smooth the tape back down about every other day. It doesn’t do well at all on the arms as far as staying(rolled arms, not flat). I’m sure it would stay a lot better with the pins. Most of these tapes say they’re not good for microfiber. I haven’t seen any negative yet with mine. The tape doesn’t leave a sticky residue. I’ve had to replace the arms twice in 2 weeks. Maybe if left on longer, there would be residue. Cutting them to the size I need was nice too. My cats have left my chair alone where I have this applied. I’ve had one cat try to chew it off so he could scratch, that didn’t fair well. He hated the taste and gave up. Haha.

Rubycat: This is the second time I've ordered these couch protectors as they really deter my two cats from scratching the sides and back of the couch and armchairs. Eventually they lose some of their stickiness and need to be replaced. Will definitely keep using these as long as I have cats.

Amazon Customer: These won't work. YES THEY DO. I put a scratching post nearby that they used to ignore -- now they use it instead of my couch. Can't really believe it.

jennifer: Coming across this is game changer .. tried many different methods to save my furniture from being destroyed and declawing was never a option . I’m a avid review reader so seeing how customers rated and discovered how effective this alternative was is what brought me to my purchase application and deterrent of my cat scratching my leather furniture. Would only stand to reason to leave positive review so future buyers know what this product can do for them . Extremely lucky to have come across this as I was frustrated looking at blankets and covers over furniture in hopes to prevent any further damage as like many I don’t have money to burn to run out and purchase new set after my cat used it as her personal scratching post.
