SharkieSharkie: My husband totally did not believe our 8 month old kitten would like being “petted” with these gloves or that they would really remove any hair. We have a point Lynx Siamese cat that is short haired. These gloves were amazing!! After just a few times petting him, he loved it and purred. He did grab my hand and pull it to him to smell the gloves (I should have washed them first), but that’s all he did and then just went back to purring.

No worries about cleaning - either bang them against each other outside and let the hair float away for the birds to make nests out of or a damp paper towel works or rinsing them

Ann R. Davis: Unbelievable the amount of hair that comes off from my dogs. The short haired dog especially. I had to call it a day because I was too tired to go on with it. Will keep on grooming her in the days to come. The other dog, longer hair could tell she was getting something really good and lined up beside her, asking for his turn. His hair came off in longer mats, easy to get off the glove. Hers, being short and today being windy, just floated all over the patio. I could have stuffed a small pillow I think. Take that as a tip. don't do this inside. Go outside. I am expecting to vacuum less now.

Ruth L: I was hesitant to waste more money on products to remove excessive fur from my 13 year old cat. She refuses to allow me to brush her. Two swipes and she’s gone. Also, she refuses to sit in my lap longer than 10 minutes. I tried the gloves this evening with excellent results. Tons of hair were extracted. Yeah! Better yet- the cat enjoyed the mitt and remained on my lap for almost 30 minutes- a new record. She loved the process. I am super happy tonight and thankful to have removed all those hairs without aggravating her- and me. My Jack Russell jumped up for his turn. He was ecstatic and didn’t want me to stop brushing him with the glove. Bottom line- it worked for my feline and canine and I am very happy with the product.

Kenneth G: I have a golden lab, a long haired chiweenie, and a house covered in fur that I have to vacuum every single day. I was brushing them every morning but it was too tedious to have to keep cleaning out the brush. I always ran out of energy long before either one ran out of fur. These are MUCH more convenient. I take them outside and give them a rub down they love. When the gloves get full I just clap them together, shake the fir into the breeze, and go back to their rub down. It's a lot quicker and more fun for them. Unfortunately, I still run out of energy before they run out of fur. WHERE DOES IT ALL COME FROM!? I haven't seen any of the construction quality issues I've seen in some of the other posts, but I have only been using them for a week.

Posh1: We bought these yesterday and got them this morning so we were excited to use them right away. We have two hounds, large dogs with short hair. One dog sheds at probably a normal pace, the other is a huge shedder, he has a subtly fuzzy look to him and when we pet him we always get a fur ball. We have brushed him but it never seems to do much, so we decided to try these. The low shedding dog had a good amount of fur come off of him when we used these on him, and we were pleased with that. When we used them on our high shedding dog the fur balls just kept coming. The gloves were covered in fur and the deck was too (do this outside). We swept up all the hair and then rubbed him down again and got almost as much again. So. Much. Hair! We will do this regularly since it worked so well, and I gotta say, the fuzzy look is gone and he looks smooth and shiny now, after one use. I will say you should size up if you are close to the high end of the measurement. I got medium and they fit great, my husband got large and they are a tight fit, x-large would have been better. I think a little big is better than a little small. All in all, we recommend these gloves.

Bon par contre vu que le gant n'a pas la capacité de stockage de poil d'une brosse, il faut s'attendre à voir des poils voler un peu partout, donc il faudra tout aspirer ou le faire à l'extérieur

Sarah: My short haired cat hates most things, including being groomed, and I can’t get near her with a brush. Other gloves are large and often brightly coloured and she’s not fooled by those either. Her (as the vet put it) lazy self grooming schedule was resulting in dull fur, mats and dander.

I tried these out straight away and she absolutely loves them. She rolls around in front of me asking to be stroked with them. Luckily the weather is good so we tried them outside, because I’ve got enough dead fur off of her to make another cat.

You do have to be gentle in places where the fur is thinner or she’s more sensitive, such as on her tail, legs and belly, but in the end it was me who insisted we stop, otherwise I’d have had a bald cat.

Amazon Customer: We have a choc lab that moults for England. Hair everywhere. These gloves are brilliant. Firstly he loves to be groomed and these are not harsh or scratchy. The hair collection is mind boggling leaving a lovely smooth shiny coat. I so recommend. I have bought another pair to stay on our motorhome. Worth every penny

Rumplehash: There are a few things that don’t work if you had a breed like a Bengal cat: Short-haired but sheds substantially.
1) The rubber nodules are shorter, more hard and rigid compared to another product I was using earlier. This meant my cats were not getting the massage they were used to. They were in visible discomfort because the rigid nodules were very rough on their muscles and skin
2) The nodules are not as long. Meaning they did not remove a lot of hair. If I compared to how much they usually shed, this product removed about 1/3rd of the quantity
3) The material repels hair. Meaning the hair does not stick to the glove and either gets back onto the cat or falls onto the ground, hence making a mess.
Some positives are:
A) Seems to be made of high quality material that would last long
B) The Velcro around the wrist fits well, meaning the glove does not move around or slip off
I’ll be going back to my previous gloves as they don’t suit my cats. However given the good quality, if you found the right purpose these gloves seem handy.
