Donald: I used a sprayer to apply the paint and it covers well. The high gloss finish excellent. My problem is the dry time. It is 8 to 12 hours to re-coat vs. 2 hours with the big box store brand. After 2 days this paint was still sticking to other items painted at the same time. I would rather pay a little more and have the paint dry faster.
