These are plastic, including plastic shafts. They don't seem very sturdy, and there's (in my opinion) a limited range of adjustment. Also, they're too short for my bike, though they my be fine on other setups. I don't like being negative about products, but I'm ordering better-quality mirrors right, because these just don't seem very good.

These mirrors are poorly designed for mountain bikes and cross bikes. Might be OK for a street bike drop bar handlebar. The arms are not long enough to reach past the end of the handlebars where you need them to see what's behind you. The clamp is barely big enough to fit a bare handlebar that has no tape on it. It uses a nut & bolt to hold tighten on, it should have a wing nut or be otherwise adjustable without tools. The nut is positioned so it is upside down when in place, and hard to position where it does not interfere with a brake or gear shift lever.
