I was away for college for the worst part of it, and eventually, they had to call an exterminator, but like most cases the fleas came back. By the time I moved back home(summer 2022) the fleas were only noticeable to me because I'm guessing my family developed a tolerance for flea bites. So, as I was the only one affected by them now, I started cleaning religiously to get rid of them. I was stupid and for months tried different flea products from walmart but nothing was working. After some research, I chose this product to help me get rid of those little b**ches. It wasn't that big of an infestation this second time because we no longer had furry animals, but I, in my heart, believe they were feeding and surviving off of my family and me. I recommend (I'm pretty sure the instructions say this too) to spray about every 10 days, and make sure you deep clean the areas you will be spraying before you actually start. Amazon Customer: Tried alpine spray and it didn't work as well as this one. In retrospect should have bought the precor 2625 spray given size of house.

Read about how to get rid of fleas. It takes preparation to do spray. If pets, need to treat too and also outside.

I used the terro flea traps for monitoring and after this spray, there were no adult fleas. Plan to spray in another 2 weeks.

Of note, I did spray wearing nitrile gloves, long sleeves, and a full face gas mask with a combined p100/chemical filter. This stuff is strong so please make sure to wear protection including a mask and eye protection. I have hard wood floors mostly - sprayed everything and also into cabinets. No major issues on the floors after spraying. Did notop the floors for a month to keep the residua spray on. After mopping, plan to repeat spray.

For outside, I had two companies spray. First used just permethrin and second used permethrin with igr (insect growth regulator) with a spray back blower. Kenneth D Mongeon: I have 3 indoor cats, but plenty of strays that I feed on my porch. Only one flea needs to get in and that's typically what happens here.
First you have to understand the life cycle of the flea. If you comb your cats when they have fleas, you may not see the eggs, but most of the eggs fall off into their bedding. It's impossible to keep up with because cats' bed literally everywhere. This is why my system works. But I get fleas every year and it's been a struggle until I found this spray.

Like I said, when you comb your cats, you'll see fleas, of course, but also flea dirt. What this is - is blood meal. Adults eat blood off your cat, then they lay eggs which can be killed with Precor. Then they turn into Larvae. These are little worms that you can see on the comb. They are invisible to the eye until they feed. They feed on blood like open wounds when your animal scratches off scabs from adult flea bites. They also eat the feces of adult fleas which is just dried blood (Flea Dirt). Next, they go into a Cocoon stage. This stage is the real problem even though it only contains 10% of a flea infestation.
