Jimmy: Enforcer Flea & Tick Spray is the only spray that we've tried that will actually kill most fleas on contact without leaving a red rash on our pets skin. My wife has used this spray for several years on both our long & short-haired chihuahuas after a bath. We tried it on dry hair/skin & it didn't seem to be as good at flea control. Then when it dried it was greasy on both hair types. The spray seems to work better when sprayed on damp fur/skin sometimes lasting longer that the '7 days' as advertised. We've had zero fleas & no scratching for 2 weeks in the past when we used it on the short-haired dog. Honestly, it doesn't work nearly as well as it used to, but still works better than most. Be prepared for the strong smell of alcohol. It goes away quickly but you & your pets may sneeze.
