Don kuskie: I’ve been using my existing zodiac for 15 years just an occasional diaphragm and outer fin Is all that’s needed when it doesn’t work it’s nice having a pool cleaner you can replace parts on Easily, no need not hire a pool man to do it.

Dorah: This thing is very powerful and diligent. I would, however, recommend naming it so, when you go out to get it unstuck from a corner, you can direct your frustration at the vacuum. It's cathartic.

domantn: We run the pool sweep about 10 hours/day for about 8 months/year. So far, these last about 5-7 years. They are easy to work with and obtain parts. The only part you need to replace is the diaphragm which is readily available from multiple sources and is inexpensive.

Gigi: How long it lasts and how well it works it totally up to the consumer. This item is about as simple in design as it is to operate. Proper care will ensure a long and happy coexistence. This is my third cleaner (same family line for about 30 years) I have a 12,000+ gallon pool (screened) in Florida. I use this about 3 days out of the month. The cleaner will complete its task in about 8 to 10 hours. The time it is not in the pool it is kept dry and out of direct sun. This allows me anywhere from 4 to 5 years of worry free reliability before having to replace the diaphram or skirt. The case will last alot longer. I looked at the gear driven cleaners but as a mechanice my theory is the less moving parts mean less to break or wear out. If you like simplicity with great results this is your cleaner.
