Mockingbird50: This heating pad is just what my husband needed for his pain in his shoulders and in his back. The cover is soft, and it gets plenty warm. The only downside is that the neck is too small to fasten around his neck to hold it on. He’s not a heavy man, so I think it will only fasten around the neck of a very slender person. But he used it without fastening it, and it helped relieve his pain.

Theresa Dombrowski: I don't think I have the flu. I'm pretty sure some alien being crawled into my chest on accident and has been trying to escape ever since by way of what I can only describe is human kennel cough. My back hurts so bad and although I'll probably have the hottest looking abs out there, it won't matter because I'm fat. Anyway, this heated thingy is like a wonderful, warm hug. It's soft and gentle and has really helped relieve my aching bones. The dogs are plotting a strategy to take it from me for their own use, however, if I have it strapped on, they can't steal it. This thing is really great especially for anyone living in those colder climes that need some desperate relief.

Marlan Warren: This is my very first heating pad, and I got it for my recently diagnosed back pain issues - and it REALLY HELPS! It's very soft and feels wonderful even before it heats up. I just wish it was a little longer to actually cover my sciatic nerve area below my waist. It covers slightly and I have to shift the pad lower (leaving the shoulder area less covered) so it's awkward. Also awkward is the doggone cord which is heavy and only on the left side so I need to find an outlet at home that it can be plugged into on that one side.
I sleep with the cord wrapped around me due to the placement of the cord.
Other than that, it has been a godsend on these cold nights when I was waking up in back spasms - now that has significantly improved!

Jerri: The only thing I could remotely complain about with this heating pad is I wish it got just a little bit hotter! I love how big it is and how you can strap it either around your neck or around your waist to keep it in place. Well worth the price!
