Zinus Alexia Wood Platform Bed Frame: Sturdy Solid Wood Foundation for a Comfortable Sleep

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I am coming from a King size metal bed frame so switching to wood I was concerned about putting the frame together and the quality supporting my mattress without having to buy from a large furniture store.

I read all the reviews and saw that that is frame had such great stars. The price point was wonderful under $200.

Fast forward to delivery. I was in luck and home when the truck pulled up so I was able to ask the guys to place the box in my garage.

First impression when I tried to reposition the box was, wow the reviews are true the quality of this bed must be amazing because I couldn’t move the box for nothing, it is VERY heavy!
I had to open the box and bring each piece in 1 x 1, and the quality is crème de la crème!

It’s beautiful pine. It smells amazing, feels amazing. It’s a gorgeous frame. I wish the headboard were a bit higher, but even down the slats and how they are buckled it with wood grooves, it’s a very well made bed.

Instructions were great, and tools and pieces were great quality. I cannot believe this bed sells for $200 as a King size.

J. M.: I was able to assemble it almost completely on my own. Just needed another person for the finer adjustments. A family member recommended this bed and they’ve had their bed for 2 plus years. I am seriously looking at other Zinus products for my home.

Canadian ReviewsCanadian Reviews: I don't often write reviews but god dam. 🙌 first off the frame came double packed to protect it and every part was labeled and in perfect condition. Came with 2 extra assembly tools "one a ratcheting tool" and spare parts. The frame is solid wood which nowadays you couldn't buy and make for this price! Honestly think someone messed up on the price lol but my gain. Secondly every part matched up and screwed tight together 🔩. Another surprise was that even the welds and parts that arnt seen were great quality and everything was nicely powder coated👌. If this was made in China it was made at a Rolls-Royce factory. I will 100% buy more products from them. Check out the pictures for yourself. Not a promo either just shocking to recieve anything half decent foe that cheap of a price nowadays 🤔 payed 255 CAD plus tax.

Rose: This bed frame feels sturdy and well made. If you can get past the confusing directions it’s pretty quick to put together. I took 1 star off for the annoyingly confusing directions. I ended up finding a video on YouTube where someone put the bed frame together. That was immensely helpful. I got the lower hight of 12 inches , which is plenty high if you have a 13 in mattress like I do. The only thing I regretted is not buying the frame with the headboard. Other than that the pretty nice frame.

AMG: I am so surprised how beautiful this bed looks in person. I mean, it looks great in the pictures but they don't do it justice. The stain is a beautiful rich brown mahogany and each piece feels very sturdy as it should. I purchased two of these for two different rooms and had no issues with either one. The packaging is above and beyond.... double-boxed and the styrofoam is enclosed in plastic wrap so it doesn't fall apart all over the place. One of the outer boxes was damaged but there was no damage to the actual product. It took myself plus one son to assemble the beds. I could've assembled on my own but it's nice to have the help. Took about 30 mins each bed. The box itself is extremely heavy and it took 2 of us to haul them upstairs. If I'd have been alone, I would've taken each piece up one at a time. The instructions are very simple and easy to understand. The screws and washers are well-labeled and come with extra parts. It even comes with a ratchet allen wrench which is really cool. GMACGMAC: We purchased this bed in a king size a few years ago and are so pleased that we purchased a queen for our new guest bedroom. The bed is durable, looks amazing and was sooo easy to put together. We coupled it with a Molblly queen mattress ... now we just need guests!

Still an awesome bedframe. Still the same solid, uncreakable, unbreakable bed that came in the annoyingly secure box in July 2022. I will ABSOLUTELY purchase another when I buy a home. Affordable, stylish, sturdy, reliable. Money is tight these days and this purchase won't make you feel like an idiot for trusting that something so affordable can actually be a decent item for ownership.

I'm a researcher---and I don't like spending money on stuff that is misrepresented, and I'll sure as heck send it back. I travel around a lot because of education and work--so my "bed frame" was a cheap wallyworld metal frame that a nice mattress sat upon. Looked terrible, but there it is.

This bed was extraordinarily affordable, which gave me pause. It came in a huge, long cardboard container---and was packed so carefully I was annoyed at how much wrapping I had to undo. So it came in pristine condition.

I laid out all of the pieces, which are marked clearly with numbers and letters, all of the hardware is in a packet that has corresponding numbers and letters. EASY PEASY. The pieces all fit together without any further "modification" and I had it...
