SarcatSarcat: We potty trained our puppy to use a litter tray since we don’t have grass in our backyard and can’t always take him for walks. When the pine pellets absorb liquid, they turn to sawdust and I wanted something with a point, angled edges, and flat to get the sawdust from corners and edges without grabbing all the good pine pellets left over. I also didn’t want something with huge holes as we don’t really need to sift as much as we need to scoop. This scooper fit our needs wonderfully, it’s good quality, and it was affordable to top it off.

GRF: Tras probar varias palas para limpiar areneros de gato, esta pala es la mejor para hacerlo de forma efectiva, ya que atrapa hasta el residuo más pequeño.

Viry Jim: La verdad yo lo compré para mis gatos porque es difícil encontrar palas con orificios pequeños para recoger en el arenero, lo malo es que la arena tapa los orificios porque estos son más grandes y se me hace difícil que la arena salga por dichos orificios. La punta también lo hace difícil.
Pero una vez que recoje lo ewtiene bien y sino fuera por los orificios pequeños y la punta de la pala, sería algo muy bueno de usar.
La compré consciente de que era para reptiles. Por lo cual era obvio que no era práctico para gatos, pero quise intentarlo. A los dueños de reptiles, espero que les funcione muy bien.

Amazon Customer: The mesh on this is a little to fine. You cannot scoop a lot at one time or it takes forever to strain it out.
We bought it to get the smaller pieces and it does a good job of that but you have to do it a little bit at a time.

Aly: I cut off the pointy end and use it for the tiny clumps left over when scooping my cats litter box. It works GREAT for that, however, its very tedious to sift the litter as the holes are so small, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay to give my baby girl clean litter every time I clean her box. Been using it a couple months and it’s still very sturdy and works well! Would recommend for anyone wanting to clean the tiny clumps from their cats litter.

AlaídeHurtado: Amazon me ofreció esta pala en área de gatos y me vi tentada a comprarla. Llegó bastante rápido, pero tristemente no funciona con cualquier sustrato, al usar arena fina con mis gatos pensé que me ayudaría con las piezas granuladas que ensuciaban más rápido pero al contrario se hizo mucho más difícil porque agujeros no filtran la arena aunque muevas la pala, se desperdicia demasiado sustrato/arena. Voy a pedir mi devolución.

Irene G rodriguez: First of all, I use Pretty Litter for my adult cat & kitten. Before I switched to pretty litter I was using Dr Elsey’s clay litter. Finding a good scooper was my goal and I found it. I tested the scooper with the clay littler and the crystallized pretty litter & the scooper was perfect for both. Like some people commented, I wish the scooper had a squared tip versus the triangle tip. It would help scoop more litter at a time. To solve that problem I use a small dust pan to hold and keep most of the dirty litter in the scooper while I shake it. It does a very good job at keeping small particles on the scooper. It’s also easy to wash and very sturdy. I will definitely repurchase this item. Thumbs up!

Vivian NuñezVivian Nuñez: The media could not be loaded.  La forma en pico de la pala al principio pensé que funcionaría genial, pero en la práctica complica un poco la tarea. En cuanto a los orificios, estos son un tanto pequeños, obvio ayuda a quitar los residuos mas chiquitos que con otras palas, Pero si te tardas mas tiempo xq tienes que menearle para que todo pase jajaa . en mi caso yo uso la arena scoop away, que trae moronitas para el control de olor, y al usar la pala estas no pasan por los hoyitos, pero pues equis. El plastico es super duro y si ayuda para despegar la pipi que se aglutina en las paredes.

The sifter really does work in retaining those little chunks that have broken off the larger chunks, those annoying bits that fall through a regular litter scoop. You gently shake, shake, shake and the miniscule pieces stay behind as the sandy grains sift through the smaller holes.

However, what works against this scoop is that angled bayonet front. I don't get it. I guess if you have a gopher or other rodent living in your cat's litterbox, and you want to really attack it as you're cleaning the litter, this will totally work. For me, because I don't have a rodent infestation in the cat areas (probably because the existence of my cat takes care of that), the triangle front just gets in the way. I see a chunk I want to get, I aim the sifter for it, but when I raise the sifter, the chunk I want falls off the side of the triangle with most of the litter.
