Ashlee Jones: Perhaps my dog is just super weird and these just don’t work for her or perhaps I’m not selecting the right product. My almost 2 year old 52 lb pittie, who’s just the sweetest girl, has pretty serious anxiety. She becomes very hyper when I need to leave and will do just about anything to stop me from leaving. Separation anxiety without destruction, I suppose because she’s very good when she is at home with the other dog. She’s also very hyper and excited when I am home to the point of hurting me with her jumping. She’s also nervous with new people, nervous around other dogs, and just… super nervous in general. She’s in training and I do try to provide enough outlets for her to expend energy. I’m not looking to sedate her really but just looking for something to keep her anxiety at a more manageable level. I read awesome reviews on this and really wanted it to work, but it just doesn’t work for her :( She does love them though and very willingly performs her tricks for them when I bring them out, even if they don’t work.

PeaPea: I bought these calming puppy bites out of desperation for some sanity. I got a 6 week old yorkie puppy a few days ago and the previous owners always gave her attention or let her out the pen when she whined. Unfortunately she has a second set of shots to get at the end of the month so I can’t walk her, which is why we are wee-wee pad training. Im also trying to break the previous owners habit with running to her aid when she’s whining (after a potty break) as we are crate training at night and play pen training by day. I let her out every 2-3 hours at night as she is really good with letting me know when she has to go. Additionally, during play pen time she’s there while I’m working. In a nutshell, she will howl and act out for 15-20 mins at a time until she self soothes and realizing I’m not responding to her. She will relax for a little then be RIGHT back at it. I received my Amazon delivery TODAY and it was right on time as it was her dinner time as well. I got home from work she was howling, whining and just down right acting a menace. I made her dinner and sprinkle one of the calming bites on top then mixed it in. I fed her at 8:15pm by 8:45pm she was laying down...

そのままじっとしてればいいのですが、
興奮が冷めない限り、家中の中をウロウロ、
普段しない行為を繰り返し、破壊行為もしたりします。梅雨の時期が私にはとても苦痛で仕方ありませんでした。初めて購入して、飲ませてない時とは、違う気がします。
少しの雨でも、気付かないぐらい寝てたりしてたので、びっくりしました。
まだ続けてみて様子みようと思ってます。
他のメーカーで安いサプリを試してみましたが全く、効果みられずに。。。
もう少し、続けていくには、値段が安くなると助かりますが。。。。

K. king: He’s a basset? Maybe his nose wasn’t having it but when i *did* get them into him, they did have a calming effect. Just didn’t like the chicken flavor, generally not peanut butter. This is my dog- not the product

Book Diva G: On the first day, I gave my puppy half a chew and after an hour he was still as rambunctious as ever, so I gave him the second half. Nothing. Still agressively nipping and bursts of zoomies times x100.

On the second day, I gave him half before getting into the car. He always gets anxious, whiney, and can't settle down. Eventually he did calm down and stayed in his puppy seat thing and went to sleep. That was a first. We went it the pet store and at first he was nervous and shaking. I held him and soothed him until he eventually calmed down and let me put him in the front part of the cart wrapped in his blanket. He let people pet him and didn't back away. I went home and gave him the second half before going back out to pick up my son. He fell asleep in his puppy seat within minutes. So maybe it works on stressful or scary situations outside house but does nothing to calm the crazy while he's in the house.

Dawn: Love this product m, I give it to my 7lb Malshi as she has separation anxiety. That with some dog relaxing music helps her.

Jess: These are great compared to other calming treats I have tried. One of my dogs has severe car and storm anxiety. He shakes and pants the whole car ride and for storms the moment he smells rain has begun to hide. He is around 55 lbs and I give him 2 and a half treats and that usually seems to help however it does alter his mood once the car ride or storm is over. My other dog sometimes feeds off his anxiety so I tried giving her 2 since she is also around 55 lbs and this just is not for her. Makes her act very weird and you can tell she is almost uncomfortable like a bad high. Anyways, love these chews for my dog with horrible anxiety however I recommend just testing to see what works for your dog. Start with one chew and then adjust depending one the directions and your dogs.

JJ37: Our 14 month dog is very noise sensitive and alert barks a lot. Sometimes she'd get herself so worked up she'd be barking every 5 minutes at any noise, and unable to relax and nap. She's also scared of anyone coming to the door, and certainly anyone coming inside the house. I was getting to the end of my tether, and feeling so bad for her that she seems so anxious all the time.

We have been using these for five days now, and I have also been prioritising working with her to reinforce calm through out the day (I work from home). And I've been marking and treating her every time there is a noise that could make her nervous.

I noticed a difference right from the first day of giving her a Calm Chew. She seemed less wired, and certain noises that she would normally bark at were being ignored. Now 5 days in, her alert barking has decreased by about 80% from the days when it's particularly bad!

It will take longer to train her not to be scared by people coming to the door of course, but I've even noticed that she doesn't get quite so worked up and I'm able to get her to listen to me (whereas before she was simply going crazy barking and not taking any notice of me at...
