R. Patton: First, it's weird that these are clearly labeled for cats but listed as a dog product. Second, they smell absolutely rancid. I had a differenct version that was in kind of a cup and they had no smell. But on the plus side, my dog twitches, barks, cries, and runs ALL night in his sleep and these seem to make him sleep a bit more soundly.

Baby Bacall: I don't know why they're all stinky in a way that neither me nor my cat find super delicious.
When I CAN convince her to eat them it's amazing. Instead of wandering around singing me the song of her people, she chills right on out. Purring and happy at the end of the bed no matter what is going on. Even through the fireworks which really freak her out.
Love this product but wondering if they couldn't make it smell and taste a bit more yummy?

Lisa M. Woodhouse: Two years ago I adopted a 6 yr. old male Pomeranian rescued from a puppy mill breeding facility. He had lived his entire life in a crate and was afraid of everything when I adopted him - it took me 4 months just to be able to touch him. Fast forward to today and he's doing well - sleeps with me, is housebroken, walks on leash with me - but he's always on guard whenever strangers are around, including my neighbors out in their back yards, who he has seen in their yards for the past 2 years. I decided to give him herbs to help him be calmer, so after a lot of online research, I bought this. It took about 2-3 weeks for me to see any kind of difference, but I noticed that after giving him one tablet in the morning, about mid-day he was a little TOO mellow, always napping and not as alert. He is 15 lbs. and the dosage is one chew tab, so instead of one full tab just in the A.M., I am splitting them in half and giving him a half in the A.M. and half in the P.M., and what a difference it has made. He has even started to play with me. He seems so much happier now. I recommend this product if you want some help with an anxious or reactive dog, and doing what you need to do, like splitting...

E & C: Seems to take the edge off. My cats do okay on these Quiet Moments Calming Aid + Melatonin. It typically takes closer to about 45 minutes for the effect to kick in, a little longer than the 30 minutes prior to a stressful event suggested on the package.

I received the wrong product and was shipped the Salmon flavored variety instead. One of my 3 cats cannot eat salmon, he'll just throw up, so now I have to try to return for the correct product which has only ever been a huge hassle with Amazon in my experience.

Bearlover67: The product itself seems to work for my rambunctious female cat, Rambo. I’ve sprayed it on her toys, blanket, cat tree and cat bed to calm or settle her down. It appears to be helping although we just received the spray.
The only issue we have is the poor/damaged way we received the package. The first bottle was delivered in the mail, but the bottle was already empty upon arrival. The entire contents were saturated throughout the packaging/paper envelope. It was a soaking wet mess…I contacted Amazon customer service to explain. After chatting with two agents, they replaced the spray with a second order at no cost to us. Even the second spray bottle was delivered with the lid off and it had leaked slightly. Suggestion…please ship or package your item in a more secure container or box to prevent spillage or leakage.
To make the situation worse, Amazon initially told me I had to return the first bottle that arrived damaged. Why should we go to the inconvenience of returning an empty bottle? In the end, I sure hope the product works well in calming our cat.

No tiembla todo el cuerpo y se relaja más rápido. Pero si tiran cohetes durante media hora o más, no aguanta y mejor me voy en coche a dar una vuelta.

Fazal S: Sometimes I need 3 or 4 for my medium sized cat for him to eventually relax. They do end up working, but my cat is not a fan of the taste or smell, like other reviewers have mentioned. I have to mix in other treats for him to have these and even then, he may not eat it all.

The texture of the treat is very soft, crumbly and dry and not snappy with a bite. You can't split one in half, it will just crumble. Maybe a harder texture with bite or a paste would be more appealing to my cat and other cats, and would be easier to portion.
