Markpr73: I GET it, it’s only a pipe cleaner. But I’ve used some that have small metal threads wound into the material and they tend to puncture my skin easily. These pipe cleaners do not have the woven metal threads. Very comfortable to handle and they do just what you buy them to do. Probably the best product at this price point.

Tanggor: Ummm...so, I use these to clean stuff. All the little nooks and crannies. You know dirt and grime. It gets in all the cracks.
These are a bit more robust than the "craft" versions, and seem to do a nice job for the tasks I've assigned them to. The "prickly" versions are nice too, when you need a bit of scraping with your cleaning (this review is for the soft, non-prickly version).
Plus, they're Zen pipe cleaners, so they can be very contemplative during the cleaning process.
What does it mean to be clean? What does it mean to be dirty? What does clean really look like? These are some of the deep questions of our times. At least these Zen cleaners can help you find the answer to that third question.
