Dave: These are perfect, they are long enough, and they fit in the cassette, and around small parts. I use them to do cleaning. I bend one into a U shape, then drop it on the cassette of the drive train, and go to work cleaning until I get back a white pipe cleaner. Usually takes 3 or 4 of them for this. They do grab dirt well, when finished, I see shiny metal... I also wrap one around the hub loosely, so it can slip around. Keeps the hub clean, and so far, the two of them have lasted two months. My hubs look clean all the time.

RK: These pipe cleaners are the real deal. Unlike the brightly colored ones sold for many crafts, these pipe cleaners can take the heat of an iron without melting. They are white and I haven’t had them show through the mask fabrics. I’m now twisting two together just to give the masks a longer life. I didn’t understand, back in February how long we would need to be wearing masks. But if you need to wear one, it might as well let everyone express something about them selves. I’m glad the five year old next door likes things other than super heroes. It is nice to craft with truck fabric. And, it is nice to know his masked will last well, with those pipe cleaners keeping each mask in place. You can’t fly like rocket, run to your bat mobile or glide quickly down a spiderweb rope in your spider suit if your mask doesn’t stay in place, right? These pipe cleaners are strong and bendy. They do their job so super heroes can do theirs.

BeachLover: Ordered these to attach pompoms to a wreath I was making. I did not realize they are 1/2 the length of regular ones so I had to alter they way I used them. They are soft though, and bend easily with no breakage after multiple bendings. There are a lot of them so I'm sure they will be great for some holiday crafts where I would normally need to cut a regular length one.
