Angie: The lid is a little hard to snap closed. Is leak proof as long as the cover is screwed on tightly.

Amazon Customer: The spill-proof feature of this cup is great. It works well. However, in time (about 6 months), the lid at the seal starts to leak. I have had 4 of these and all 4 have had this issue. You can stop it from happening by wrenching the lid really tight. Then when it is time for a refill, I have to get my son to open it because it is so tight. I have contacted the company 2 times to purchase replacement lids but they have not responded. I could purchase a new cup but I find that wasteful when the cup is perfectly fine. The lid is the issue.

Sara Braun: Got these a few days ago initially to take out on the speed boat. We needed something to keep our drinks cold, easy to hold, and easy to drink out of as we’re speeding around the lake...these are perfect!! Not 1 spill. Actually, after a few hours on the boat I had left these on the counter for about 3 more hours before doing the dishes and the liquid was still cold. Not as cold as initially obviously, but cold enough to still drink.
So today I took mine in the semi, which is as bumpy as you would expect a semi ride to be on Michigan roads. So far I’ve dropped it 1/2 a dozen times, it’s slid across the truck bed, and I’ve smooshed it with the seat I dunno how many times. It now has a few scratches, but hasn’t leaked and my iced coffee is still cold (with ice) after 6 hours!
