Jesse c.: For an everyday use type item this is def not going to be my go to... But as a survival item you might use once or twice to start a fire it'll get the job done. Fluid seems to stay in and not evaporate much with the seal but the igniton rod just doesn't want to spark easily even after removing the factory coating.

E: The media could not be loaded. Not sure why people are having an issue lighting? It’s so easy! I’ve bought four of these (one for everyone in my family) and none of them have had any issues. I filled up all four of them and tested each one myself. 10/10 recommend.

CrissannCrissann: I’m posting this review for two reasons. I wanted to show exactly what I received in the mail. Everything stated in the description was included. Secondly this is the second lighter of this type that I bought. First one was defective and was returned. When I went to order another lighter I think it is in everybody ’s best interest to get 1 that comes with extra wicks. Because this is a gift I was unable to check out its functionality but based on having used other lighters of this type I do not foresee a problem.
