jSuz: I find these colored pencils to be strong but buttery soft when using them. My only regret is that I didn’t search for a set with more in it! The colors are vibrant and so far I haven’t found paper that caused any problems. It seems to me that paper is a huge factor when evaluating colored pencils. Also, I have periodic problems with certain pencils causing my hands to ache. These are comfortable to me, not causing any aching in my hands. They do have Asian symbols of perhaps Chinese for identification. I would encourage anyone who loves to color to give these a try.

D. M. Chase: First, let me say that I am not an artist. I purchased these because I loved all the different shades; along with the other reviews about the smoothness of the pencils, and that that they were all in a nice tin. I use them for adult coloring (relaxing therapy in these wonderous times) and I was not disappointed. They were smooth, I could easily blend them, and the colors "popped" better than other colored pencils I have purchased in the past. I enjoy that they are in a flat tin container so that they fit with my book in my dresser drawer. Very pleased!

Marilyn Pipes: This was a gift for my 10 year old grand daughter on her birthday, along with some adult coloring books. She was thrilled with the assortment of colors. I was pleased with the durable metal case. As of yet, she has not had time to use her pencils, but I tried them and found the colors bright and blendable. I may just order a set of these pencils for myself soon, we will see after she uses them.

Vicki Brown: I just received these pencils. So far I like them. The colors are nice. I do wish they had color names stamped on the pencil. The pencil color and actual color are slightly different. I haven’t sharpened any yet. A previous set I bought from another seller, would continually break while sharpening no matter how slow or slight I sharpened them. The colors are smooth and blend well. So far so good.
