Soucolor 72-Piece Colored Pencil Set for Adult Coloring Books and Art Projects

A Customer: I really like these pencils! I used some Prismacolor and Arteza pencils and loved them, but they were too expensive for me to buy sets for myself. But these popped up as "soft core" pencils so I decided to give them a try (expecting to be disappointed). These are a great affordable alternative to the more expensive brands! (I'm a casual colorer--not an artist).

Jewell: U must layer your color or blend! I thought they were good! I'm trying a different set now! The new ones seem almost exactly the same however the container is better! Good luck

ATIT S.: The quality is decent but looks like they are not oil based. So expect the color to be as bright as oil based as there is no where in the description i found the pencil color base (oil or wax or water). On other part they are good. Comes with free eraser & dual sharpner. My kid liked it.

Mya P.: I'm an adult who recently acquired a coloring book to have something to do while relaxing and listening to music. I needed something first and foremost cheap, with a range of colors and decent color payoff. I got these colored pencils.

For one of the clubs I'm involved with, we needed to make a handmade banner for a club fair. I offered up my colored pencils and we did the whole poster with them. Regardless of our technique, the colors themselves were even and exactly what you want when it comes to all purpose colored pencils. I even told some of my club members about the pencils they were using and they all thought it was a wonderful value and decent quality for the price. The paper canister they come in is quite sturdy as well.

Very pleased with these overall. I think maybe giving the colors names would be helpful for keeping track of what color goes where, but that's nitpicking honestly.

Rachel: I was skeptical at first, BUT I have these and many other popular color pencils and they work just as great and easily. Work easily for shading and the quality is very nice. They are also beautiful pencils. Definitely worth the money for them especially compared to more expensive brands. Thickness is great because they don’t break easily.

Janice: The colors are vibrant, and so many hues are provided! The lead is not too soft, yet not as hard as the Crayola brand. I purchased them for my Pre-K classroom (we ran out of Crayola) and now I don't know if I can ever switch to another brand. My class is thrilled, and with all the various colors and during free time I find they often choose coloring over play.

They have been trying to figure out the difference between the colors, say a pink that is light, has more brown in it, or another that has more red, or another that is brighter... it is very interesting to watch their fascination with the difference between the varying shades, and how they are using them in increasingly detailed coloring pages.
