Cassie Glock: I have completed this project and it is simply adorable. But I had a few little issues. Firstly, the picture guide for the pattern had some of the stitch names written in an Asian language. Therefore, unless you are familiar with embroidery stitches and can determine the best type of stitch to use or can tell by looking at the photo, you are just kind of lost.

This is one reason I wouldn't recommend this for beginners. The second reason, the short and long stitch coloring on the flowers is not for someone new to embroidery. Especially without any guidance on doing this is the instructions. I had a hard time with this coloring, especially on such small petals.

Overall, I love this kit, but not for a beginner.

JC: Generous amount of floss materials. Very slim on directions. Beautifully artistic pattern and quality materials. Not for a beginner. You need to rely on the color photo and past experience to decide what colors and stitches to use. You will need a different source for instructions on stitches you do not already know how to sew. The stitch instructions are written using some English translation program and make no sense.

Mnky: I like how the kit is set up. It is sturdier than most embroidery kits I have had.
I suppose it is meant for beginners because doesn’t use many different stitches?
I’ll honestly say I became bored with the uneven stitch and changed up a few stitches myself.
The directions are simple enough and well pictured enough to sufficiently teach a beginner.
I do better with video instruction, so just looked up each stitch on you tube.
Still, it really is a pretty good kit with a nice pattern and embroidery floss.

JPG: I am having so much fun with this kit. The instructions are very clear. This is enough of a challenge to make it interesting and easy enough for a beginner. I love turning to this at the end of the day. I might buy the same kit again now that I have the hang of it! Great value for the money. I get so much satisfaction out of doing it. At the end of a busy day I put on an Audible book and do my embroidery!
