sarahsarah: Only did a small necklace before. This is my 2nd project. It's 8". I expect 3-4". I worked on it for about 3 weeks for a total of 30ish hrs. I took some liberty with colors and stitch. I was a bit scared when I got it wet to rid the pattern, it's fine. For mothers day 💕 ❤️ gift 🎁 ❤️. I enjoyed it. It takes patience.

Jayla: I really liked doing embroideries and I started off with smaller ones so I decided to get this pack as a beginning to a bigger one. I’ve never actually used fabric on any, so that was a change. But the only downfall with that is that sometimes it would hurt my fingers because the needle would be a bit hard to pull through. But it has patterns on it, so it’s easy to follow. Some of the stitch work I couldn’t understand from just pictures, so I did have to look up videos on how to do it, but they were still a bit complicated.

WpgLiz: The kit is good for its value.
There is no colour placement instructions.
You have to just wing it and go by the image on the paper.
The colours are a bit off, not at all the same as the multiple shades of the image.
You can easily change up the colours to match better if you go and purchase more embroidery threads for yourself.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I normally prefer cross stitch but down an Amazon rabbit hole I stumbled on this 3 pack of mountain scenes. They're quite adorable and progress is quick. It comes with only 1 hoop so if you wish to display your finished product that way, you'll have to pick up a couple more. I normally work on wooden hoops and was pleased with the quality of the plastic one the set came with. It tightens up great and the scew is better than the ones I already own. The function is so much better, I'm switching to plastic from now on! The design on the fabric is dissolvable so as you can see in my photo, part of the grassy area bottom left has worn away just from me manoeuvring the hoop to stitch. I'll have to pencil it back in so my circle doesn't come out wonky. The cute set of scissors the set comes with are no hell, dull as a banana! They're a nice touch though, really the set arrives with everything you need to begin. If you're looking for an easy, adorable project or are new to embroidery and want to give it a go, you can't go wrong with this set. Excellent value for your money.

Gonewiththe: When browsing on Amazon, I first found myself attracted to the designs that this kit offers. It's important to know that they are true to the pictures (as in, what I got in the delivery was what was advertised). I had never embroidered before, so I was looking for a beginner-friendly kit. Overall I'd say that it's very worth it -- the packaging was neat and prevented the floss from tangling, the price point is great, and the instructions and images are pretty intelligible. I will say, though, that the written instructions are confusing to a complete beginner -- I ended up going on YouTube quite a few times to watch tutorials for how to do certain stitches because the instructions were not very clear to me / read a little bit like an online translator spit out translations from another language. With a little support from video walkthroughs of stitches, I made a gorgeous first piece of embroidery and look forward to working on the other two pieces included in the kit!!!

Gertie Hunt: Very nice kits except for the instruction on the different stitches. The writing and pictures are too small. I need to use a magnifying glass to read them. I don't really like having the thread cut in lengths or not having a number for the color in case you run short. I know I am getting pretty picky but if it helps to get the company correcting some of my suggestions for the next bunch, they will have happier buyers, mainly me....lol

Peach BlackteaPeach Blacktea: More than enough embroidery floss, always have several strand left over. They give u 2+ needle per package so u have extra too. Needles are pointy but dull and has lots friction on the fabric. The sewing instruction doesn't have the exact stitches used, but it's simple enough to look up online .

jackiBeejackiBee: This is a great kit for beginners. It comes with everything you would need and more. For example the scissors and extra needles or really helpful to have and also plenty of extra string. I do recommend googling some of the threading instructions for the pattern because the pictures are a little confusing but every single name was easy to google and a 15 second video that explains it perfectly. This has taken me a while to finish even one but it’s a great thing to do or watching TV. I gave it four stars because the directions aren’t great but other than that I thought as a beginner it was a pretty good kid especially for the value. Also I would suggest googling how to separate the threads of string, there are six threads in each piece of string. When you read the instructions you’ll notice this no I don’t think any design requires all six threads. So I suggest googling the best way to separate your threads so they don’t get tangled. Otherwise you’re gonna lose string and/or get really frustrated trying to untangle it.

animarelic: This is a nice mid-level kit. The instructions are all on one sheet, but come with each project. On the front is a guide to filling in the sections with the colors (think of it as a color by number key) and on the back is a run down of a lot of common needlework stitches. For these kit you really only need two; the satin stitch and the french knot. The rest is kind of like coloring, but with thread. The fabric is nice and thick and well woven and stands up very well to the work. There are plenty of needles included (two or three with each project, taped to the cards) and these hold up well, and the little scissors are sharp. I was pleasantly surprised that the hoop is a plastic tongue and groove style hoop, where it has a ridge that sits inside a groove in the outside hoop, instead of a standard, cheap bamboo hoop. Overall, it's a good kit and with a little experience doing satin stitch and french knots you're sure to get a good result.

Though you're working in six strands I would suggest dividing your thread into three strands, then doubling it on your needle (I.E. placing your needle on a closed loop of 3 strands of thread that way it will be six strands) because the...
