YOOHE Black Aluminum Suction Cup Dent Puller Handle with Lifting Power

Kindle Customer: I bought this item to pull a dent, actually more of a bent panel. It seems to work well , allowing a strong pull before releasing. Very rugged and easy to use. Unfortunately it did not work well enough to pull the panel back into place. I don't think the problem was entirely due to this puller as it seems to work well. I think that I just need something bigger. The one thing I think could be improved is that it has letters molded (actually they stand out, not in) on the sealing surface that prevents it from making intimate contact with the area to be pulled. Not sure if this would have allowed it to pull strong enough to pull my panel back, but it certainly couldn't hurt to get that little bit extra performance.

Roy Shepard: I bought this to pull a dent. I was able to remove the dent before I got the suction cup. It does have a lot of suction so it should work on a large dent as long as there is a flat surface in the center for it to suck to. It will be very useful if I have to move glass or hold a smooth flat surface. It is easy to attach and remove. The handle makes it easy to attach a line to a smooth surface. It seems to be well made and works as it should.

Miles Patterson: The suction cup is only as big as my hand or so, meaning any dent larger than an 2-3 inches probably won't be able to be latched on to, as it has to make contact with the surface around the dent in order to pull it out. The slightest bit of air getting through made it to where it wouldn't suck. A lot of this is common sense, which is why I am giving it 4 stars, but customers should just know that this isn't going to get the job done for any dent larger than a few inches.

As for the product materials, it felt nice and sturdy. The metal is easy to grip and doesn't necessarily feel like a cheap piece of equipment.

Kindle Customer: I bought it for a dent on my car but because of the place and size of the dent it wouldn’t work. So I bought a smaller dent puller and it’s the same thing won’t work because of the place and shape of the dent! It does seem to have good suction and it’s easy to use though. Seems like it would work for a dent in the center of the car but for once in hard to reach areas it doesn’t!

Thomas R. Leighton: I tried the product out on some panes of glass, and it works great. If that's what you want it for, I think you'll be fine. Any smooth, FLAT surface will probably work.

I bought this product based on its advertised use as a dent puller for my car, though. There were several dented areas. The suction cup was too wide for the smaller dents - understandable. I had a wider, shallower dent that seemed appropriate; the suction cup looked just right in the center of it. It was difficult to get the cup to stick to the door. I got it to hold several times, and was able to partially pull out that one dent. If the suction had held, I could've pulled it the rest of the way, but it always came unstuck before I reached the amount of force needed to finish fixing the dent. The suction just didn't hold well enough.

Even the "shallow, appropriate" dent - like most of what you're going to use this for on a car - was not completely flat. It was relatively flat. I guess there was enough curvature to defeat the suction cup once I reached a certain amount of pulling force. I think this product will work for certain auto dents, but probably not most of them.
