FamilyMan_: These tools have been used many times, and are well made for the cost. I have broken several of the plastic parts after heavy use. I feel like the amount of abuse I put them through was expected that some wear would be experienced. The number of spare dent cups provided is totally reasonable. I thought the glue sticks were of great composition compared with similar products. Very happy with this and would buy again.

Rambunctious_Rockhound: Look, the bar was pretty low. A complete PDR kit for $35? It's not going to be the highest quality. And yep, it is not.

These are some cheap, chintzy tools. The glue gun barely works, the glue simultaneously has trouble adhering to the pads and is extremely difficult to remove from the car, and the slide hammer is pretty weak.

But I was able to mostly remove a pretty sizable dent from the door of a vehicle with no prior experience, so it did it's job. But I doubt any of these tools will last more than one or two uses.

colnago: I have a '94 F150 pickup that has picked up a few dents during its lifetime. I had seen YouTube videos on these kits with newer paper-thin cars. I bought this particular kit because it had everything I needed. I had a nasty ding in the truck bed, and I couldn't get to the back side. So, instead of pounding it out, I had to pull it out. I haven't finished it yet, but this kit is surpassing my expectations.

A couple of notes:

1. It comes with a cute little glue gun. I didn't use it, because I already had one.

2. While alcohol(not the drinking kind) softens the glue, carb cleaner is magic!

3. I wait five minutes between laying the glue, and pulling. And thinner glue is better.

Take it slow. It's only sheet metal. The newer the car, the thinner the metal.

Dave B: Purchased a 5 piece set of these trim removal tools to complete some little trim tasks in my vehicle.
I found the larger ones to be very effective.
Just be cautious with the thin smaller ones and assess their use before you commit, as I had a little mishap with the very thin ended pieces of two.
A little heavy handed me, could have been the problem there though.
Overall a great purchase for the price.
They are now being used on my 12th little task.
I have found them to be very effective and quite invaluable to my ongoing vehicle related tasks.
Just buy them, at this price you cannot go wrong.

K K: Seems like it will work, however, in southern California right now the temperature is too high for the glue to stick.
I tried early one morning before the temperature passed 75 degrees and the glue held.
You have to use on small areas and proceed to another area to get results.
More to come later when weather cools
Here is an update: The glue provided did indeed hold when the truck body panel was cool. I tried many times to remove the dent. I was not able to get it out completely, but in all fairness, the dent was on a crease in the body panel. It does look much better now and I believe this product will work well on straight panels

Andy: After an evening spent trying (and failing) to route a hardwire cable for a dashcam, I saw a video in which someone used tools like this. I have to say they are amazing. Within seconds I had removed the necessary trim to easily allow the hiding of the cable - and all without damaging any of the trim.

I ended up only using two of the tools so can't comment on the effectiveness of the others, and have only used them once so can't comment on the durability. However I had more success in a few minutes with these tools in than the hours spent the previous evening.

They felt very sturdy to me and I didn't notice any untoward flexing.

I would highly recommend them and wish I'd discovered them years ago!

Amazon Customer: After using my dent lifter for years I realized I would need a slide hammer puller to get some of the harder deeper dents to lift easier without so many attempts at glue pulling with my hand lifter. You get can some real power to lift deeper dents or body line dents with this kit in places where my hand lifter just couldn't go. I love my hand lifter but now that iv'e added this kit to my dent tool collection I feel there isn't any dent that I can't pull. This dent pulling stuff takes practice to get perfect results so make sure you try to practice a bit on an old car or something to get a feel for it. This kit is very complete if your looking for a slide hammer, I also love the small mallet and knock down tool with all the different tips. Really nice kit and a must have in order to keep your car or trucks body in tip top shape. I am super picky about any imperfections in my trucks body and paint. I don't go out looking to get dings or dents but I now know that I have some skills and the right tools to get the job done correctly without making things worse. Practice, Practice, Practice! I've even started making some money on the side using pieces from this kit to remove dents but...
