Danyelle: I love everything about this clock other than it being too bright for a bedside table even on the lowest setting. I'm thinking of trying to find some transparent darkening film maybe, not sure if that would work. It definitely creates a glow similar to a night light. I've moved it as far away as I can and still be able to read it without my glasses. My husband called it obnoxious from his side of the bed.

Sapphire93Sapphire93: I had an older clock with ugly orange numbers, it was so bright it would light up the whole room. We bought this one because it was so customizable. First night with it and I am a fan! It's perfectly readable from across the room but not so bright that it's distracting. We typically use our phones for alarms, so I haven't tried that feature yet.

SpaceMom125: This little clock does everything it is supposed to do. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that if you use it in a room other than a bedroom (I use mine in my family room) and there is light, there is a strong glare from the screen and you can't read the numbers. But then again, it's supposed to be used in a bedroom where it is usually dark so no glare. If the screen could be non-glare, this could be used in other rooms and situations other than just the bedroom.
