Justanothershopper: I really liked this clock and it kept time pretty well - only had to set the clock for the time changes. After 16 months the battery went dead and coroded inside it. Then the cap on the dial on the back for setting the time popped off and got stuck in the battery case. I decided it would be easier to buy a new one than to clean up the corosion.

lauree: i really like this clock, although it's sometimes hard to read from afar, but the most annoying thing is that it doesn't give accurate timing; it's about 3 to 4 minutes behind each day.

susan lane: This was the smallest bedside alarm clock with Roman Numerals I could find on Amazon. It is cumbersome and flimsy . It rattles when handled and the alarm adjuster has fallen off twice whilst I was trying to switch the alarm off. It does keep good time and luckily I don't need to adjust the alarm. The colour on the photo is confusing and is really a matt black. This looked horrible on my bedside cabinet so have I painted it antique silver. Very expensive for what you get. The last alarm clock, of that ilk, that I bought; is slightly smaller, sturdier, and half the price. Nothing has fallen off of it.

Peter R Munro: This clock is a very nice reproduction of a vintage alarm clock without the annoying ticking of a mechanical clock.
The face has good contrast and large hands that make it easy to read and the retro style is very suitable for mid 20th century decor. The alarm tone starts quietly and increases as time marches on, very effective.

My one criticism is the night light function is not very bright and the hands have no lume.

Overall, happy customer.
