michael: The media could not be loaded. i initially thought i'd end up with a mess i'd have to clean up with box cutters, a dremel tool and an oscillating tool with a carbide blade. but thankfully, i watched a lot (LOT) of videos and even tried to 3D print a few of these (took about 2 hours each at .1mm with ABS if anyone is interested; far longer than i had time for). i went on faith and bit the bullet. i'm so happy i did. the thicknesses are precise and uniform (unlike my 3D versions! ). they go down super easy and, as you see from the clip, remove even easier. the bottom foot serve as a nice way to keep the mortar thickness uniform and the clips keep the tiles nice and level. just make sure that 1) you adjust the pliers to make the clips nice and tight and 2) recheck your spacing after tightening as the tiles can ooze apart a bit. i used the tools used for removing car panels as a lever to pull them back into place. be patient and you'll be rewarded with a beautifully level tile surface with nice uniform grout gaps. highly recommended.

Joe NationwideJoe Nationwide: These clips worked great and are a must to help you keep large format tiles level. This was my first time installing tile so I went from a noob to a competent installer after about a day. The first day I started tiling the floor and I didn't always clean up the mortar in between the joints as much as I should have, which made it hard to remove these clips.
A good tip is to use a rubber mallet (or dead blow hammer) to strike the clips from the side of the green ramps, they should pop off completely with no extra work. But if you have dried mortar inbetween the clips you will have to spend some time grinding away the mortar and trying to pry the rest of the clip out. Huge pain. Nothing wrong with the product, just operator error. Just beware if you are new to tiling like me, save yourself a huge headache.

Julie W.: This was my first time using a tile leveling system. Wow! Made a huge difference in the amount of time to lay tile and flatness. All the same rules apply, the subfloor needs to be level, the layer of mortar consistent, etc. This does an excellent job of managing the lippage, an issue I never fully overcame with a level.
I found it really important to minimize the mortar (minimize as in none) in the grout lines or the clips don’t break off low enough. The first set of tiles I ended up have to dig around in the grout lines to get the clips out and chipped a few tiles. Not the fault of the product, just my learning curve. Kicking the wedges out didn’t take care of the clips for me, I end up removing everything with a pair of channel locks.
Some of the clips break when putting in the wedges which can be a bummer. I guess the only solution is extra care not to bend and weaken them.
All in all I’m really happy with the end result and the price of this set is great

Eric: I was hesitant on using this system. But I gifted myself for Christmas with 1 of the top 2. Used them on 2 showers and bath floors. Excellent experience. So I wanted to buy more. But the system I chose was expensive. So I look through all reviews like I normally do before I buy anything. And came across this system. Awesome. Almost as good as the one I bought. But some. Not all. Were a little weak. So they broke. Not many though. So I had to be a little more careful. But they absolutely worked just as good. 4 stars is for not being as durable as the other system. But overall. I will buy more and feel comfortable to keep purchasing more. Which I have.
Hope this helps 1 of you scratching your head and going back and forth to which system is cheaper but at the same time workable. This product is.

When I started laying tile 9 years ago I was taught the old fashion way to get rid of lippage. The only problem with that is for production sake you never get it completely level but good enough to go unnoticed. If you did take the time to make use it’s perfect you slowed production down by 25-50%.
