Steven: i've been playing a steel string for 3 years and decided i wanted to play classical. honestly, this buy was very last minute since the cordoba guitar i wanted was not available on amazon. needless to say, this guitar blew my expectations out of the water. it looks nice, plays great, and stays in tune. i don't know much about classical guitars but this is very comfortable to play. the hardcase was a lovely add on as well. couldn't be happier. :)

Elle: Purchased for a 9 yr old. Fits nicely. Produces a good sound. My child was excited by the lessons DVD.

The directions on the tuner are a bit of a joke. There did not seem to be an English speaking technical writer involved. I would not expect most children to be able to decipher. You will likely have to teach your child how to use the tuner.

whipitgood: I have two daughters, ages 12 and 17. They both have smallish hands. They're both interested in playing the guitar as Daddy does. This 3/4 size guitar has a nice tone, action that's easy on the fingers, a nice appearance, and the little extras that are thrown into the deal are just right. I highly recommend this for any musician who has curious children, as I do.

JR: I have just recently picked up a guitar again and restarted as a beginner. I was hesitant because other reviewers who purchased this guitar for young children. However, I did see a couple of adults buying it for themselves and decided to chance it. I'm glad I did. With the smaller size, exactly what I looked for, I can practice from the comfort of my recliner without repositioning myself upright. It has a decent tone quality, enough to play for fun and to figure out songs. It is a good beginner's guitar, not one I would play seriously for family or friends at a party or in public. The size sold me.

dhoped123: I purchased this bundle for my five year old son, and it's been a good beginner guitar package. He is 46 inches tall, and the half size is just about perfect for him. We also have a 3/4 size guitar at home, and that is definitely too big for him.
- The guitar looks very nice, in terms of the color and the style.
- I usually play a full sized steel string acoustic guitar myself, so this one sounds very quiet, almost muffled. I believe that's more due to the smaller size and the nylon strings than because of the quality.
- The quality is pretty much what you'd expect from a beginner guitar in this price range. It's fine for a beginner.
- It's actually very easy to play, which is also great for a beginner. The strings are very easy to push and hold down.
- The items included in the bundle are also fine. The tuner is easy to clip on and use. The case is relatively simple and cheap, but it serves the purpose.

Overall, I'm happy with purchase. It's not the best guitar I've ever seen, but it's perfect for a young beginner.
