"Pyle 36" Classical Acoustic Guitar – Perfect for Beginners

Claudia S.: I bought this guitar used from Amazon Warehouse Deals and had to return it because the body was damaged during shipping. However, it was an excellent bang for your buck. Especially with getting a free gig bag, tuner, etc. Perfect for beginners that are just starting out and need an instrument that will stand up to some beginner abuse, i.e. overtightening a string while tuning as I did to my ukelele. It definitely looked like a good investment that will hold up long enough till you get the hang of it and then move on to a more attractive instrument.

Brittany: We got this guitar for my 8 year old son for Christmas one year and within a month his brother managed to break it. I was unaware there was a chance for a warranty to be obtained with this purchase until 7 months later. Too late. However, Him LOVING this guitar I decided to purchase another one. The SAME one. He received it today and is absolutely thrilled to see it again. This is an excellent beginner guitar and I recommend it for anyone wanting a simple guitar to try to learn on or to see if its even an interest you may want to continue on with. Worth the money.

aiyanar subramaniam: This guitar has good craftmanship and you have easy tuning of the strings. To assist you with that, they give you a device which you can use. This guitar also comes with 2 picks which you can use. I am able to play chords wonderfully. This guitar is wieldy, and it is not hard to hold. I would recommend this guitar to beginners that are interested.

Kristina Wood: Pretty good value for it sounds decent wish there was instructions for the tuner being a beginner but love that it comes with free lessons and also 1 year warranty if you register it can't complain about the craftsmanship its functional and true to color scheme

Teresa Gunby: This guitar was a Christmas gift for my seven year's granddaughter. Easy to tune, and nice looking. My granddaughter loved it and within an hour she was able to play couple of chords and couple of songs. Plastic strings are easier on her little fingers. Her hand is still too little to play over 4 frets, however I feel this guitar is perfect for young children. I would recommend it, definitely.

Terry Greene: I purchased this Pyle ¾ size guitar for my 10-year old granddaughter. Overall, in my opinion, it’s perfect for what I wanted.

First, it’s a great size for younger or smaller guitar players, especially those who are just beginning, and conveniently portable or transportable for anybody. It’s a traditional shape and style but comfortably smaller than a standard size acoustic guitar. Easy to hold, easy to grip and easy to play.

Second, it comes with nylon strings, which are much easier on the fingers than steel strings, giving it a mellower sound. Until fingertips toughen up from playing steel strings over time, beginners will appreciate the softer feel and easy action. It also makes learning chords a little easier, without as much buzzing or difficulty as stiff strings.

Third, it’s beautiful. I really like the appearance of the glossy sunburst in sunlight.

Fourth, you can’t beat the price for a well-made guitar that comes ready to tune and play. It comes with a basic clip-on acoustic tuner, extra strings, a few picks, a guitar strap, and even a cleaning cloth.

Fifth, it just sounds good. That’s a subjective...

Am CAm C: Very happy with my purchase of the 36” guitar. My 9 year old daughter asked for a guitar for Christmas and I did a lot of research for a good learners guitar without breaking the bank. I wanted something that sounded good but if she decided she doesn’t like it I wouldn’t have wasted a lot of money.
It’s the perfect size for my daughter to comfortably hold while learning and yet my uncle was able to pick it up and play it comfortably as well.
It comes with a tuner, extra strings, strap, soft case and picks.
The tuner was easy to use and it sounds really good.
I would recommend for any beginner.

Patti TsikosPatti Tsikos: I had a hard time choosing my first guitar for a couple of reasons. Since I'm a 5' petite woman, a full-size guitar is too big. This 3/4 size is a much better fit than a full-size guitar. Also, since I'm a beginner, I didn't want the steel strings because they're too hard to play, so I chose this one with nylon strings. I've always heard negative reviews about nylon strings, but after I read all the positive reviews on Amazon about this guitar, I took the chance and ordered it and don't regret it at all. The strings do need to be regularly tuned in the beginning, but after a while, they stay in place and just have to be tweaked a little bit. The guitar comes with a very nice protective case and clip on tuner, which is very convenient and easy to use to tune the guitar. I am very happy with my purchase and plan on using this guitar for years to come. It has a beautiful sound and is much easier to play than a full-size steel string guitar. timmydc22: It's a great looking guitar with only a few problem spots, but not noticeable unless your looking for them. I'm just learning to play, so the included tuner helped out a lot! If your looking for a beginner's guitar in this price range I'm not sure you could do much better.
