paul sadusky: I am waiting for my 3rd lock from Yale . The problem is the lock works for awhile and then eventually the deadbolt will stop fully disengaging. So this starts happening and the motor starts struggling and they then walk you through steps and send you a new lock that you now have to reinstall only for it to work for a few months. On my last call the support person told me my door may be the issue. LOL. So it works for a few months and then all of a sudden the door makes it so the motor stops working . Unbelievable . My Yale experience has been horrible. Find another lock

John Walstra: There is a design flaw. You basically cover the lock, outside, with your hand to trigger the door to lock. Sometime when you walk into your house, it can trigger the lock and the bolt deploys. If you don't catch it, and you try to shut the door, the bolt will smash into the deadbolt strike. I have an adjustable strike which causes it to be pushed in, which them prevent the door from locking until I fix it. It happens a lot and is extremely annoying. Given another chance I would not purchase this lock again.

Bohley: Works great with my Ring alarm system. By linking them, the lock activates and deactivates the alarm system. I lock (and set the alarm) on the way out and use the app on my phone to unlock and deactivate the alarm on return - really convenient I only use the Ring keypad to activate and deactivate the alarm over night and when someone sets something off by accident.
