BookGroupie: I purchased this cat tree because it had a ladder and the overall price point was good. I received the order rather quickly, I couldn't attach the ladder, which is important because my cat is 17 pounds and can't jump up on a tall cat tree, but I wanted him to have a space in my apt. with height.
I contacted the seller to report the issue, the response time was really good! They resolved the issues quickly, I was impressed. I rarely contact sellers on Amazon, but I'm glad the experience with them was easy and I'm happy.
My big boy likes his cat tree and that is all I wanted!

Jen Dunn: Sturdy and easy to assemble. Slightly larger than our last tree. Our three cats seem to like it. My only problem is that one of the cats is destructive, and the dangling ball has lasted less than two hours. Needs stronger string, not the thin elastic it’s attached with.

KK: My kitties love it! It does take a little bit to assemble so make sure you have a good hour available to set it up. However, once it's up you're good to go! It's nice and sturdy

The instructions are a bit lacking, like screw up from bottom into cubby to secure? Then it pokes them. I did downwards instead. The plastic strip makes no sense, & the screw is too big for holes.
I highly recommend getting a double sided screw for back cubby, I luckily saved spare from prior tree. I tried to include pic, buy it won't let me!
The 2 metal brackets are a wee short, I had to bend with pliers. You'll have better luck if you've done a tree before, you'll figure it out if you haven't.
