Aircooled VW's of the USA: I read numerous reviews on different priced horns. This one was actually rated pretty darn high. I figured I would take a shot at a horn, even as inexpensive as this one is. It was super easy to install behind the grill of my Tacoma. From the front you can't even hardly see it.

Max Wright: Hi everyone, I was able to test this horn in an anechoic chamber. I have not run the horn long enough to tell quality but I wanted to test the decibel rating because I did not believe 150 claimed. I was correct, I ran this pump and motor combination on a bench test power supply, and at 12 volts 15 amps, I was at 115 DBC. The pump and motor were cool to the touch after this. I then proceeded to up the amperage to 20 Amps with a result of 125 DBC. I ran the test for 3 seconds as this is a reasonable amount of time to honk your vehicle's horn. The pump itself was warm to the touch at this amperage but the motor portion was still cool to the touch. It is a good-sounding horn but is NOT 150 DB as claimed... This 150DB would equate to a rocket taking off. I will be testing the endurance of these motors shortly and will report back to this post on how long continuous power at 15 amps it can run before melting.

Daniel Switzer: The product was great, very simple to install, negative to negative, positive to positive. But I do recommend that you put an inline fuze just to be sure. The quality is pretty fair, it's made of metal, I don't see it breaking anytime soon. I've had mine for about a year now and it's still going strong. It's plenty loud and definitely gets your attention.

Stacy N.: Awesome horn...put it on my boat...crapped my pants when I accidentally hit the button on the dash. Note..... The air pump pulls big amps and can not be bench tested...needs a battery or equivalent to work.

I received the horn in 2 days... My neighbour's heard it and wanted on also. I have 3 more on order.

TV 2017: Loud !
Sure gets the attention of someone who laughs at my Smart car when they tremble ( and no doubt dirty their undies ) after hearing this ! Ha take that.
Don't know why the negative posts here. I don't have anything but good to say. It all works super good !!!
