IbourgieIbourgie: Purchased this horn to install on my 2004 VTX, due to never being seen on the highway and the stock horn just isn't loud enough for drivers to hear you with their windows rolled up. Now, with the Wolo Bad Boy, they are going to be looking for a freight train, cause this thing is Loud! It should be called Bad A** and not just Bad Boy..lol. Please note that I am giving it 4 stars because of the placement of the connectors. The way the direction they are placed makes it difficult to hide the wires, if they would have been turned 45 degrees, it would make it so much easier. But that being said, it is a it pricey, but right now I say it is definately worth it. Hopefully, it lasts.

B Gavan: It sounds great, but needs a stronger wire. It blew the fuse with my existing wires. Other than that, it’s awesome!

It plugged right in and was simple enough to install. Its definitely loud enough and thats what i wanted. It looks pretty good I guess,but I don't expect that to last long.
The so so:
it doesn't look very weather resistant, so if you plan on riding in the rain or bad conditions I wouldn't expect it to last for very many seasons. It's chrome plastic,kinda cheap. The way it mounts on a single point doesn't look very sturdy,with the vibrations on a harley I'm worried it could crack the aluminum mounting bracket,time will tell. I'm going to install a rubber washer to mitigate that.
The bad:
Bigger than I thought. So you can kiss your custom horn cover on your Harley good bye. The price. Given the quality I think the price is a little steep. Especially if I end up having to replace it in a year or two.
Over all I guess I'm satisfied with it. I'm happy to have a horn people can actually hear. If the quality was better or it was a little smaller I would be thrilled. Hope this helps

Robert Early: So far this horn is a godsend. I love how unmistakable the sound is. People will hear you. It was super easy to install with provided hardware. Side note: I now have an extra one cuz Amazon notified me that it couldn't be delivered & was issuing a refund so I ran to Auto Zone to grab the last one on their shelf. And then the one from Amazon showed up. 😁

Mark Dougherty: I was so impressed with the look, and the ease of how it it was installed. And let’s not forget the sound… OMG! I was just about to show my wife and a friend of mine, and on the sly, I told her to watch how high he jumps. When I pressed the button, they both jumped, and she knew it was coming!!! I’ve always hated the fact, that when a car alarm goes off, almost everybody jumps up to see if it’s their car alarm or not, because they all sound the same! Well between my “Ahooga” horn, and my “Train” horn… I’ll definitely know who’s car is being broken in to, or where the body will be found, when the thief has a Heart Attack from being startled to death by my horns!

ZinderinZinderin: I just put this on my 1996 Road King, my factory horn gave up the ghost.

Two things to know about this horn; First, your factory horn 'bell' cover has to go ... it won't fit over this horn. Second thing to know, the supplied bolt did not fit my factory horn mount. I had to tap it out just slightly higher.

It really was plug and play like they claim. It took all of 20 minutes, and 10m of that was finding my drill motor and bit kit, and actually drilling the hole. Seriously, 20m max.

This particular horn comes in at 90db using a real meter to measure it. You're may very, I noticed the manufacturer is careful not to make any db claims.

I've been told Harley Davidson claims their horns are 80db but come in for real about 65 or so. I don't know about that ... mine was dying and my purring cat was louder ... but this horn made me jump when I hit it, and I knew I was hitting it. It drew my neighbor to come outside and see what all the noise was as well. I don't need more than this horn is giving me, the point is let them know I'm there, not panic them and have them do something stupid like swerve into me or slam on the brakes.

Anyway, I'd give it 5...
