I had to get rid of her first scratch lounge because of neighbor-induced pest issues, and I'm finally replacing it for her. she will nap for hours in this! scratching cardboard just really does something to her that scratching on her scratch post doesn't! it's such a great versatile product, very sturdy and the perfect size for my cat who's about 10 lbs.

Jada: This scratcher is well made. I have been on a bend buying many scratching post that are shaped in various ways t stop my cat from scratching the couch. Through this she has stopped scratcthe couch but only because she has found something better a rug with a plastic bag on it. Her favorite thing to scratch. Unfortunately the literal scratching post did not beat the plastic bag combo she literally only lays in it ( she also only lays in it when we put plastic bags in it).

LucilleLucille: We moved into our home four years ago after having it significantly renovated. For the record, don't renovate a house if you wish to maintain a healthy marriage.

I didn't fancy having cat trees or scratching posts because they can look shabby and kind of crazy cat hoarder personish. Plus our cats have access to a cat proofed garden to scratch the trees, fence, and terrorize small creatures in. However despite this plethora of garden delights to destroy, they were still turning their attentions to our furniture. I don't think I had fully appreciated that cats actually need to scratch things at all hours of the day and night (always read the fine print when adopting three cats). And if you don't provide something they find things - like the brand new chest of drawers in the entrance hall, the leather sofa, the velvet covered dining room chairs, your lap first thing in the morning when you are checking your Instagram.

I'm trying to convince my partner to get a new sofa (the old one is scratched to bits, stained, and looking like it belongs in the home of crazy cat hoarder people) and he resolutely refuses. "The cats will only destroy it," he says solemnly. This is when...

Leanne A: My two cats love this product. It has saved my carpets as this is now the preferred scratching surface. They also love to lie on it and often one will settle in for the night on it. I had to buy two since my girl kitty was always getting pushed out. Now she has her own.

Tea: I have a large cat and many scratchers are on the smaller size so it is nice that he can comfortably play on this and the other two can use it together. I find they use it more as a bed than a scratcher but it is holding up well to the amount they have scratched it and there are refills available for it. It comes with cardboard covering the cut out ends which my cats seem to be using almost as a pillow so I left them on but they rip off easily. The catnip that comes with it is decent quality and I don't think I have seen it without a cat - unless feeding time - since we got it so definitely worth the cost.

SpecialK: I had one of these a few years back that cost me $10 at Walmart but they no longer carry it so I looked on here and here it's $50 OMG WTH anyways I gave in and ordered one and as soon as I put it on the floor my kitty looked at it then at me and went right for it and didn't leave it for 3-4 hours until it was supper time then right back in she went LOL cutest thing ever and then her sister slept in it a couple of nights instead of with me but that's okay as long as they are happy. It was so adorable. I'm tempted to order another one but $50 is a lot of dough for me. We'll see how this one holds up as well as the first one. It lasted years. I am not kidding! Then my younger one threw up on it LOL so that was the end of it and we haven't had one since because I couldn't find one and now here they are.
It's only been a couple of days so I'll update it's longevity and a few months.

LoewenmelLoewenmel: Meine Schwester empfahl mir die Scratch Lounge, nachdem sie damit bei ihrem Kater so tolle Erfahrungen gemacht hat.
Zunächst bestellte ich nur eine Scratch Lounge, um zu Testen, ob meine beiden Katzen sich überhaupt dafür interessieren würden. Denn nicht jedes gut gemeinte Spielzeug/Möbelstück für Katzen überzeugt diese auch.

Ausgepackt und hingestellt, waren beide sofort zur Stelle und stritten sich um den Platz darin. Also wurde schnell eine zweite Scratch Lounge bestellt, damit jede ihre eigene hat. Vom ersten Tag an waren die Kästen ungemein interessant für die Katzen, sie kratzen darin, sie wälzen sich, liegen wirklich lange darin und haben ganz offensichtlich immernoch ihren Spaß.

Optisch finde ich die Scratch Lounge sehr ansprechend. Sie ist liebevoll gestaltet und sehr robust. Die Kopfenden sind bei mir dran geblieben. Auch nach einem halben Jahr sehen beide Kästen trotz nahezu täglicher Nutzung (noch häufiger werden nur die Katzenklos aufgesucht) tadellos aus.

Zugegeben, der Preis ist schon recht hoch, wenn man bedenkt, dass es sich nur um einen "Pappkarton" handelt, aber die Freude, meine Katzen auch nach Monaten noch darin zu...
