Billy: This product 1: won’t sit flush on a ‘14 (or newer) and 2: is too short for the Antennae base that sticks up through it. You need to get the blocky one that looks more like oem. This will not fit a 2014 tundra.

Also, when installing its so easy if you just remove the splash guard clips from the wheel well, and then remove the antennae from below. This will allow you to freely pop on and off this rubber base piece. Spent 20 minutes messing with this until it was put back together (with the old piece because, well this one doesn’t fit MY truck).

chase: I was able to install using a long 3/8 ratchet extension pushing straight down on the part. Make sure if you use this method push straight down and not at an angle and make sure the bottom of the boot, grommet whatever you want to call it is in place as much as possible. My fear was the bottom coming out and my extension creating a big gouge in the fender but I managed to do it without any damage to the truck. Oh and a couple of things. I removed the antenna from the mount under the fender. There’s a YouTube video on how to do this. Also with the 2014 model the antenna body itself has a clamp that has to be slid up in order for this to work. All in all I wouldn’t recommend if you gave a 2014 model. Can’t speak for other models. I may have to edit this later on if it comes out or breaks or something else but so far it’s in. I will say I do like to lower profile I’d this one compared to the factory one.

Steve: My old grommet on a 2014 Toyota Tundra was trash. I ordered this particular replacement because of design and price. The kit does come with a bottle of grease, without the gorilla you need to properly seat this thing. A rubber hammer, dull punch, more grease, and 1 hour 40 minutes later it was "seated".
But now my life is complete, and this base will outlive the truck.
