John M.: I got my X-stand. It took maybe fifteen minutes to put it together Had no trouble with instructions and found pic's helpful. I'm 62 and I can assemble/disassemble and carrie this stand with no problem. It's the perfect hight for the cover I hunt and is one of the most stable stands I have. The pipe at base of ladder is an unbelievable anchor. 50 mile an hour winds and it was still tight as a baby butt. Great stand for the money. I gave it 4 stars but it is 4.5 really. I wish it had hand rails. I'm no spring chicken.

Amazon Customer: Once stand is assembled and in place works great... put together and placed in woods in two hours or so.
Like others have stated...box arrived in pieces. Large areas of stand had powder coating rubbed off during shipping... usps not changing their practices so x-stand should change their packaging.
Instructions called for seat rail but like others mine did not have one. Not sure if it needs it as works without it.
Having a blind attachment would be a nice option.....
Biggest issue is the bolts- all were and sixteenth to eighth inch short. Was able to get stand together but some nuts were only a few threads tight.
Putting stand up was difficult due to weight. Used winch on side by side and friend to get in place. Once up with adjustments made stand is solid.
Seats are comfortable but wish they were independent so I could sit in one and fold one up for gear.
That said sitting on either side with footrest out very comfortable... stand will be all day hunter where other stands I am shifting all day due to getting stiff. Looking forward to many hours hunting in this stand.

ARPete: This stand is fantastic. I shared this stand with my Niece, Dad, and Brother throughout this past hunting season. It is a great design for a two seat stand. It is an improvement over a bench type two person stand. One of the best features is the independent shooting rails. I am 6'5" hunting with my 9 yo niece. We cannot share a shooting rail well on a bench type stand so being able to set ours differently is a huge advantage. The table in the middle is great for those small odds and ends to sit. My binos, a cup of coffee, my phone all have a spot in arms reach.
The only complaint I have is the seat backs could be taller. Because of the seat design you cannot lean up against the tree you are attached to. If I am doing an all day hunt, i want to lean back at some point in time, and this does not provide the support to do so.
Otherwise, this is a fantastic product. I was a little hesitant when I saw the price tag, but would pay it again now that I know how good it is.

Thad: First, I did not get any coupons or gift cards to write this review. I am writing this review because I assembled this stand and have sat in it four times now. So, the assembly was time consuming and requires two people. The instructions could be a little clearer, maybe a larger pamphlet so the text is bigger and more room for the diagram, but overall it was fine. Even when I scratched my head and thought "it can't go together like this in this sequence", sure enough it worked. Once the stand was up it is secured tightly with three different points. I really like this. The straps that come around from the top and loop the tree to be secured at the lower part of the ladder creates excellent torque that prevent the stand from moving at all. At first it looked a little over-engineered but I realize the importance now. My hunting partner is 190 but I come in at 245, and that's not accounting for our gear. This thing does not BUDGE when we each climb into it, nor when we sit down or shift. The foam could be thicker, but this can be replaced. The arm rails are wide and long, and I like this compared to other stands I have owned. The seats are comfortable, but I waterproofed everything...

Clint E. Bennett: The hunt property is very woody. So we pre-assembled the chair base ahead of time in the garage. I'm so glad we did. There are a lot of parts to this!!!! And we were missing parts, contacted the seller and they shipped what was missing directly to me. So check your stuff ahead of time
We put the chair base and ladder segments on a trailer to transport to property. Carried in pieces to tree did final assembly to stand up. We had extra help to stand this beast up it's not a lightweight stand. We will be leaving it up permanently and just using tarps to cover during of season to add protection from elements.
