Gadget Man: Does a decent job for pipe gunk like hair and what have you. For a tub drain where the drain pipe has some bends and such bring a wash cloth along as trying to push feed a barbed wire plastic snake is not a pleasant on the hands (ouch). Covering the barbs with a cloth helps insulate the hands as you force feed down. You need to turn the handle for this device to work, just pushing it in and out does not work very well. Also bring some tweezers as this gadget works decent for the pipe itself but does nothing to clean the drain stopper itself, tweezers work best for this. Cleaning this gadget for re-use is kind of a pain as hair gets twisted around the barbs. That said not a bad solution given the price.

Evan: I made the grave mistake of draining beef that I was browning into the sink. The next day my sink stopped draining and I realized relatively quickly what I had done. I tried chemicals over the course of a week, drain-o, green gobbler, and liquid plumber. I probably tried about 5 bottles worth, two small and three of the bigger versions. For some reason none of it worked so I used one of these little guys. It was plenty long for my sink and did just what I needed it to in a minute or two. Some other reviews mention it's flimsy (yes) and that it comes bent which makes it difficult to get into the sink (yes) but as long as you're gentle and don't need something very strong it'll work. I probably didn't break up the fat,I probably just poked a hole in it, but it drains and it's not slow so that's future me's problem.

SB: AMAZING! I had a shower clog that was, I thought, going to require a plumber to clear. Shower was filling up during even a very brief rinse off and it took WAAAY too long to completely drain!
Ordered these and finally had the time to take one out of the package and try it. Within SECONDS of inserting that spikey thing down the drain and twisting it, I had cleared that drain! It drains INSTANTLY now!
And the best part: once You HAVE a hair clog in it, you can just pull it out, place the tip and hair clog in a bag and snip off the end, and then put it right back down there to get the next bit of the clog!!!!
GENIUS IDEA!!!! I would post a pic of the hair clogs I removed (2 of them) but honestly, I am too embarrassed to do so!
BUY THESE! You wont regret it!

Patrice Lefebvre: It's years I use chemical decloggers on a monthly basis in my washroom sink, I finally tried this product and it worked like magic. I can't believe how much hair came out from a simple insertion and pulling it back out! I had to do it twice to get all the hair, and then the sink was running like new. The clog remover is also much easier to clean than I expected, I thought I'd have to throw it after a single use but I simply removed the hairs and plan on using it again. A+

SN: Works very well for my old vintage sinks as well new ones. It has some tiny spikes that grabs hair and gunk deep in the drain. It is probably the very very best I could have hoped for. You get a lot of them so you can keep one in each bathroom or gift s few of them. MUST HAVE.

mom_and_jt: It really worked and worked well! I had tried another brand which was similar but the part going down the drain was flat and about 1cm wife by 2mm. It did not fit down the drain at all so it was a waste of money. This product is the same concept but the part going down the drain is a very flexible tube shape. It easily went down and turned to catch the hair clogging the drain. With a few tried the giant hair ball was out. I just threw it all out but if you really wanted to, you could clean it and reuse it again. Don’t bother with Draino or the other products. Just buy this one first so you don’t have to buy anything else.

Samantha Hoover: I was very pleased with this product! We have been struggling with our tub drain for a while. We’ve had a plumber clean it, used vinegar and baking soda mixture (recommended by our plumber) and cleaned it monthly. I finally was tired of nothing working and figured I had nothing to lose with trying these. I bought these and one of the metal drain snakes with the retractable claw. I first started with the metal snake through the overflow drain and was getting small clumps of hair. I decided to switch to this plastic drain snake. I fed it down the overflow drain and started spinning it. I couldn’t believe what I pulled out with it. It sounds dumb because clogs in drains aren’t the prettiest thing to see but I was so excited to see I had finally removed what was keeping our tub from draining like it should.

S. George: This product works exactly as advertised. It is easy to use and gets the job done quickly and effectively.
Only thing I found little bit annoying is that while inserting it into the sink, unless you are wearing thick gloves it can hurt your fingers. The grove on the product is very sharp so folks need to be careful to use it with thick pair of gloves.
